 Episode 188 – Why the Order 1886 is Destroying America | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 52:39

Why the Order 1886 is Destroying America. That shadowy secret society that is dedicated to protecting mankind from the werewolf menace is destroying America. What would America be without werewolves and vampires? We would still be living under the rule of a foreign government. If it wasn’t for the shadow dwellers coming here to find a place where they wouldn’t be killed just for feeding off the living we wouldn’t be here. Why the Order 1886 is Destroying America Again, no word from Chance or anyone else for that matter. We have here another opportunity for someone to take Chance down. They could definitely become the new reigning king of email, but again no one has stepped up. The hosts of the DG Podcast want me to warn you that what they recorded may represent the entire overthrow of the free world. There is a possibility that in there incoherent ramblings are the dangerous seeds of a cultural revolution that could sweep the globe in a firestorm both figurative and literal. Words have power to build and to destroy. Most-likely you will be fine, but you have been warned.  Episode 187 – Ban Robot Immigrants | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:06:17

Ban Robot Immigrants. You know that we are just going to have more and more problems with those darn robot immigrants. We should just ban them as a kneejerk reaction to the growing trend of artificials coming into our country. Ban Robot Immigrants No email from Chance this week. Evidently, no one wants to take over as king of the email. We are waiting for change to be dethroned, but so far no one has toppled his empire. Wait till you hear what the hosts of the DG Podcast have been up to! You won’t believe your ears, your eyes, or any of your other 12 senses. That is how describable their lives actually are. Just take it slowly and if you need to pause you had better do so, or your head might just explode.  Episode 186 – 7 Secrets About Gamers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:07:21

7 Secrets About Gamers. As you all know gamers have secrets. It is part of the allure, the attraction that surrounds gamers. Whenever there is a gamer there are secrets. Some of these secrets are so deep and dark we don’t even know about them ourselve which only adds to the mystique. 7 Secrets About Gamers Chance once again graced us with his presence, not in the physical sense, in the email sense. Like he’d come all the way out here just to appear on our podcast when he can cast his voice through the internet in the form of quasi spam. So, for your pleasure here is the full text of his email. Now, as we say on the show, moving on. Jason regaled us with tales of his exploits. Though exploits may be a bit of a stretch. Let’s just say at least he’s not dead. I mean, with his crazy life of reading and eating and sleeping it’s amazing that he doesn’t just drop from the sheer excitement. Rhett is still Rhett. If he wasn’t the world would become an altogether too frightening place full of love, rainbows, and unicorns. It is a good thing that Rhett is there to keep that from happening. Can you imagine all those unicorns everywhere…it gives me the heebie-jeebies.  Episode 185 – Why Geeks Rule the World | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:08:40

Why Geeks Rule the World. That’s right. We rule the world. How did that happen? Well it all started with the Information Age. Now, that information and technology are so pivotal for our society those who can control that information and utilize the technology are in charge. Why Geeks Rule the World Chance did send us an email again this week. Evidently, it was his birthday and he was busy doing birthday things instead of doing what he should have been doing, supporting this podcast. Without any further complaining here’s his email. Jason brings up reality. It intrudes on our comfy illusions. Why does it always have to ruin things. Also, there’s stuff about Girl Meets World. Rhett talks about Assassination Classroom and Battlefront, which isn’t as good as Battlefield 1. He also brings up Cowboy Bebop.  Episode 184 – 7 Things Geeks Do That Annoy Us | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:01:14

7 Things Geeks Do That Annoy Us. Why only 7 things when there are so many things geeks do that annoy us? We had to put an arbitrary cap on our list otherwise we’d never be able to stop. This topic is like Lays Potato Chips – you can just have one. But why seven? My response it why 10? … That is the sound of your mind being blown. 7 Things Geeks Do That Annoy Us No email from Chance this week. So, you won’t be subjected to his witty remarks and there won’t be an email jingle. I know you were looking forward to the email jingle. Rhett talks about why the weather here has sucked the past month or so. Rhett also talks about the new movie Creed. Rhett and Jason played one of the Battleborn operations and he is playing through the Witcher. More details in the podcast.  Episode 183 – I Stabbed a Guy | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:24:38

I Stabbed a Guy. Well not me personally, but I saw it in a movie once. The guy was standing there talkin’ smack and the hero was all, “I don’t think so” and he stabbed the guy. Best part of the movie. I Stabbed a Guy Unfortunately, this podcast is being posted way after we recorded it. My New Year’s resolution is to actually post these thing on time. However, we did get an email from Chance. If I can find it. Here is the full text of his email if you want to read it for yourself. Jason talks about Kubo and the Two Strings, a great movie.  Episode 182 – The Miraculous DG Podcast | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:31:23

The Miraculous DG Podcast. That’s right this podcast is miraculous. It will cure warts, baldness, hairiness, sniffles, mumps, chicken pox, the plague, and so much more. (It really is only miraculous that it has lasted this long.) The Miraculous DG Podcast We do have an email from Chance this week. If you didn’t know he tends to be very verbose when communicating, which is why Jason abbreviates his comments. You can read his full email here. As for what has been going on. Well, Jason started playing Space Marine again. He played it for a while and then got distracted by another shinier game. He didn’t go back reluctantly, but gladly. Space Marine is a great game. The ending is a bit of a disappointment as there probably won’t be a sequel. He’s been busy with family things, church things, and other holiday distractions. Tis the season. Rhett has been watching Man in the High Castle and playing the Wood Elves expansion on Total War: Warhammer. There are other things in here, but you should listen to the podcast for the rest of the news. We had broadcasting issues again this week so the video will be put up eventually.  Episode 181 – 4 Days to Rogue One | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:13:33

4 Days to Rogue One. Another Star Wars movie in a year. What did we do to be so lucky? I know we endured the prequel trilogy. Hopefully, this is going to be better than Episode VII. I need to get these out on time. 4 Days to Rogue One Welcome to the DG Podcast. For all of you out there who don’t know what we are about. This is an attempt to simplify our podcast. Rhett and Jason, our two hosts, attempt to hold your attention for however long it takes to get through the podcast. Sometimes they have some good things to say, other times the Elders of the Internet pull the plug in mid-sentence. During this segment of the show we talk about the things we have been doing this week. We talk about anything and everything that happens to cross our minds. Sometimes we get political, but it is always nerdy. What can I say, we are unprofessionally consistent. If you can handle that magnitude of discussions, we welcome you to the podcast.
