8/7/10 – Hour 3 Paul Schreiber,Ypsilanti Mayor Wins Democratic Primary – Mayor Paul Schreiber easily beat his Democratic opponent, former Mayor Pete Murdock, garnering 59% of the vote. Barring any write-in candidates in the November Election, Mayor Schreiber will return to his mayoral seat. (Update: 35 year-old ex-pro wrestler Jeff Davis says he has now filed as a write-in candidate. Ypsilanti’s Mayoral Election could get interesting in the fall.)

Ann Arbor Democratic Mayoral Candidates: John Hieftje & Pat Lesko: Mayor John Hieftje faces a challenge from Pat Lesko in the Democratic Primary Election on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Both agreed to sit down together with us to discuss their campaigns and distinctly different views on the state of Ann Arbor.
