Wait Wait, What's Icing?

This week on What's Icing we discuss off-season vacations and also dying in natural disasters. You know, light hearted hockey stuff. That plus a very inoffensive (fingers crossed!) discussion of religion, some NHL rule changes, and some hockey summer blockbusters. Keep an eye out for Winter Soldier Never Breaks coming to theaters near you. If you replace "near you" with "in our imaginations."

Molly goes solo today! And it's... great? It's definitely great. Topics include NWHL fundraisers, bodyswapping with NHLers, and hockey goes BROADWAY! Sorry Molly, but the Penguins are definitely not Hamilton. 

We answer YOUR questions on this, the 50th* episode of What's Icing! Dun dun dun daaah. It's a clip show… with Molly and Ella. And a few special guests. Your hosts are both traversing the world this week so, instead of a regular episode, jump into Wayne Gretzy's pensieve and travel back through some of the best bits of old.   (Apologies in advance... or perhaps in retrospect... for our audio quality circa 2015. It was hard recording in the middle of what sounds an awful lot like a deep and empty cave, but we tried our best.)

Today we survive the lack of live Sport Game by answering YOUR questions! Topics include: Gincidents, your emotional brasiere, a fundamental lack of knowledge about non-extradition countries, if Youppi has a brain capable of rational human thought, and the best things to vacuum seal and shove down your pants at a hockey game. Also once again we announce the end of the podcast then completely fail to actually end the podcast.

This episode, we fail to not talk about the Human Centipede, Ella attempts to explain what a "flipper" is, discuss Disney's dark impact on our childhood crushes, and then explore the vast and extremely cool world of drugs. (Just kidding kids, don't use drugs, as your mothers we worry about you.) All that plus our new doggo co-host, who is much better at podcasting than either of us! 

Mollyhall has been spirited away this week, so we replaced her with everyone's favorite snapback wearing softbro guest host, the artist formerly known as the Blackhawks Fairy.  Today we talk which - if any - Ottawa Senators we can remember, Sidney Crosby's facial hair, Whalesonas, and way, way too many #birdfacts. Plus an alarming amount of discussion about duck sex. (The waterfowl, non-Anaheim based variety.)

This week there's more banking advice from Molly and Ella, who are uniquely unqualified to guide you in this field, then Duke Reid Duke makes some sports friends, Molly reveals the terrible secret behind her birthplace, and we invent extremely good new rules for hockey. Also our apologies for the movie discussion where we fail to use a single correct movie title.

It's an all new, all different What's Icing reboot! That's a lie. It's not actually all that different. But we're back to hang out with you, our podcast friends, and we have a slightly new format, some fun new #jokes, and at least 10% hot hockey content.
