The Foster Parent Podcast is excited to release Episode 1! In this first episode Drew shared his vision for the show A weekly show Discussions of judicial decisions, why some are bad and how to correct those mistakes. Interviews of interesting people like caseworkers, therapists, family members discussion of news stories Drew also shared some information about why he and his wife Kelly chose to grow their family via foster care. We also meet "Mitch", their first placement, and quickly bid good bye and good luck. It is Drew and Kelly's opinion that the judge decided in a most reckless fashion to reunify Mitch immediately with an estranged family member, when he should have been reintroduced in a more gentle fashion. Finally we learn that once a child leaves a foster home there is no updates, it is just an information blackout.
