Summary: Ecclesia Church, located in the heart of Houston’s First Ward Arts District, gets its name from a Greek word that literally means the “called out”. We are a community of people who believe in the mystery and power of the Liberating King, Jesus – and his desire to set his people free. We are a Holistic, Missional, Christian Community responding to Jesus’ call on our lives individually and as a community. We seek to serve one another, the city of Houston and those in need around the world. Chris Seay is the founding pastor of Ecclesia Church, and is President of the Ecclesia Bible Society / Translator of The Voice (a beautiful and faithful translation of scriptures). He’s the author / co-author of many books including Advent Conspiracy, A Place at the Table, Faith of My Fathers, The Gospel According to Lost, The Gospel According to Tony Soprano and many others.
