Ready to suffer for Christ is a spiritual attitude that God wants us to develop in life. Bible tells us to deny our self and take up the cross to follow Jesus. We are called by God to have the fellowship of His sufferings.
In this world, we will automatically be contaminated by the things in the world such as lust of eyes, lust of flesh and pride of life but be encouraged that we have the precious blood of Christ to cleanse us from all sins.
Many times we are disturbed by various kinds of problems in our life but we need to avoid unnecessary sufferings and take up intentional sufferings for Christ.
Christian life is not a life of do's and don'ts yet God wants us to obey His instructions for righteous living which is the way for blessings and success in our lives.
Being available to God for Him to shape our life is the one thing that is needed in our daily life.
