Since the launch of the Eat Geek Play Podcast I've been wanting to sit down with artist Greg "Craola" Simkins and talk about the amazing fantasy worlds he creates with his paintbrush. We talk about Greg's history, how he threw caution to the wind to pursue a art as a career and what inspires him creatively. Of course we talk a fair amount of geek as well. October 9th The CW launches their brand new geektastic series The Tomorrow People. Based on the British Sci-Fi series from the 70's, the creators that brought you Arrow and The Vampire Diaries gives the old show a fresh coat of paint. Eat Geek Play got the chance to catch up with Robbie Amell, Mark Pellegrino, as well as the shows creative team; Julie Plec, Danny Cannon, Greg Berlanti and Phil Kemmer.   The Tomorrow People Starts Wednesdays starting October 9 at 9pm on The CW 

Writer and sometimes artist Jeff Parker talks about his new series Kings Watch where he  brings together the old King Features heroes Flash Gordon, Mandrake The Magician and The Phantom. You may remember them from the 80's cartoon series Defenders Of The Earth as well. We talk about how Kings Watch came about, Jeff's take on the comic book business, and even talk about Doctor Who.
