We review Avengers and talk alien invasion movies. Also whats your favorite kind of super hero movie…dark cerebral or popcorn action? We each give our worst to first for the 5 pre-Avengers tie-in movies! Finally you get hooked up with some cool, little-known/old alien invasion movies to check out! The crew from Zombie-Egg.com is back to bless us with some more knowledge. This week we premier a new section of the zombie podcast… “The Z-News”! This time on the Z-News we have 3 items for our zombie-savvy listeners. Number 1, the zombie 5-k run called “Run For Your Lives” a zombie infested 5k obstacle course race! Number 2, the ever impressive and enthralling “We’re Alive” podcast, an amazing story of survival done in one of my favorite mediums… radio-show style! Our second review is of Love and Rockets by Gilbert Hernandez and Jaime Hernandez, a confusing comic with a surprising amount of sodomy. We resume our drunken mayhem with the second half of the St Paddy’s day podcast! I know I, I know.. its not March anymore, so why March mayhem? Well our last podcast recording was epically long so we broke it into two parts fully intending to release the second one the following week instead of 2 weeks later but, well life gets in the way people! Please excuse the background noise insanity/peanut gallery, it was getting late and we were all pretty drunk! We finish up with TheBrian’s March madness tournament to find the #1 shinning moment in video game history! SPOILER ALERT!! We welcome Trigster to the Geek Life podcast for the very first time.  Trigster is a recently graduated film student, and Panda Manga’s official movie podcast pro guest. We review Chronicle and deconstruct the found footage genre as a whole. There’s lots of interesting observations and found footage movies you may not have heard of before this time around. Enjoy! After a brief hiatus the PM podcast is back! This week we come back around to the subject of comics. That’s right everyone, we have officially touched on all 4 proposed subjects since the launch of the PM podcast! This being our first return to the subject of comics, it is a landmark podcast for us here at Panda Manga. We have 2 indie reviews for you today. We review “Queen and Country” by Greg Rucka, illustrated by various artists, as well as “Criminal Macabre: The Cal McDonald Mysteries“(Omnibus) by Steve Niles, illustrated by Ben Templesmith and Kelley Jones. We also pay homage the great “Garfield” by Jim Davis with our “9 Things I Learned From Garfield”. Instead of featuring a song provided by AirPlusRecordings, this week we have special guest TigerPaw from AirPlusRecordings in the studio LIVE! TigerPaw generously shares with us a sneak peek at his remix of “Skyline” By RoXa, as well as plays a LIVE SONG! TigerPaw‘s live song is yet to be named, however we are working with him to set up a poll to help him choose the title of his new track. Stay tuned for a chance to help TigerPaw name his new song!
