Dick Cavett was the host of The Dick Cavett Show, which aired on ABC from 1968 to 1975 and on PBS from 1977 to 1982. When asked who his favorite interview was, he named Groucho Marx. They had an enduring friendship. Bill Marx is the son of Harpo Marx. He studied composition in New York at the Juilliard School of Music. He has written many concert works. He has also composed for motion pictures, television, theater and ballet.
