AA For Troops Podcast
Summary: Alcoholics Anonymous® has thousands of members who are serving in the Armed Forces all over the World. Many are stationed in remote locations and cannot get to A.A. meetings. The stateside recordings we provide are intended to say "Thank You for Your Service" and to help isolated A.A. members maintain their sanity and sobriety. Even if you're not in the Military, you're more than welcome to listen. We hope you'll find something that will be helpful to you and perhaps a loved one, friend or colleague. The audio recordings used on these programs, have been made at A.A. meetings all over the U.S.A. The participants share their stories of what life used to be like when they were drinking, what happened in the process of recovery and what life is like now. The views of the participants are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of Alcoholics Anonymous as a whole. The names of some speakers have been changed and/or omitted to protect their anonymity. The stories are edited to conform with the Alcoholics Anonymous tradition of anonymity and the time constraints of this program.
