First of all, I want to welcome you all to the official launch of both the Film Finance Master Class blog and podcast. As most of you know, we recently launched the first online workshop for the FFMC. It’s been a huge success and a lot of fun. I’m very impressed by how passionate and willing to take action our members are. I’m looking forward to the weeks ahead. Still, many of you were unable to attend the workshop and I didn’t want the process to just stop for the rest of you. As a result, I’d like to introduce the first official episode of Film Finance Master Class Podcast. In the FFMC Podcast we’ll be discussing the business of film making. I plan to share industry news, important tips and tricks, Industry interviews and a whole lot more. In this first episode I decided to share my story. It’s essentially the story of how I went from working in a cubicle to producing a major feature film that has now been seen by millions of people around the world. This is not intended to be some vain opportunity for me to sit around talking about myself. Rather it’s my hope to give you some insight into at least one person’s real life experience with taking an idea for a movie and turning it into a reality. It’s my hope that in hearing my story you’ll hear various points along the way that resonate with your own experiences and hopefully inspire you to stay the course and ultimately succeed. Here’s what I need you to do next… To listen to the podcast simply click here and go to iTunes. Once there, click “Subscribe Free” and the latest episode should start to download immediately. Those things really help a lot on iTunes If you would prefer to listen to the podcast here on the site you can do so below: That’s about it for now. A special thank you to all of you. The last few months mark the launch of the Film Finance Master Class. It’s not only a workshop but a community of film makers that are dedicated to making sure that their stories get told. There are many big things on the horizon for FFMC and I just really wanted to thank you for being a part of it.
