Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Mike Brickner ( Cozmic Spore ) discovered his true calling in life in 1993 and set out to create his own brand of techno music. In 1996, fate and destiny brought 2 disturbed techno minds together and Mike and his former partner created Seismic Records Detroit in 1998 but is no longer active. Seismic Records Detroit was Mike's main outlet for his evil brand of techno music, but in the beginning of the year 2008, Mike started his own label called “ Cozmic Spore Records “. He has also released projects on such labels as Definition, Secret Weapon Records, Internal Error, Cetron, Kombustion, Restructured, Third Eye, Division X and React Records. World renowned Djs such as Dave Clarke have also licensed tracks from the Cozmic Spore. Not only is Mike a world class techno producer but he is a highly skilled Dj as well.  Khombat Podcast #025 feat. DJ Seoul and T Linder 2×4 (Detroit Techno Militia)Detroit,USA | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:01:36

DOWNLOAD   T. Linder... A veteran DJ with fifteen years of experience under his belt; Detroit native, T.Linder has done his homework and paid his dues. T.Linder takes a no-nonsense, working-class approach to the art of spinning records. He cites old-school Detroit street jocks: Jeff Mills, Claude Young, Gary Chandler, Terrence Parker and Steve "DJ Energy" Crawford as major inspirations for his unorthodox aesthetic. "If someone's going to pay money to hear me spin, I'm going to make it worth their money. The way I look at it, there's too many DJs out there meticulously and methodically blending records that all sound the same. As a listener, I'm easily bored with that. I like to take some risks when I perform, skipping across genres and eras, doing scratch tricks with two copies of the same record. I want to give the listener the experience of hearing something they haven't heard before." Throughout his career, T.Linder has kept an extremely busy performance schedule that has taken him to literally thousands of events across the globe. He has played at most, if not all, of the venues in Detroit catering to underground electronic music. Notably, 2030 Grand River, The Works, Motor Lounge, St. Andrew's Hall, The Shelter, and the Underground Stage three times at the 2002, 2008, and 2009 Detroit Electronic Music Festival. In 2011 he returned to the DEMF/Movement Festival where he and his labelmates played a groundbreaking five DJ, five turntable ensemble performance as the “DTM 5x5” on the Real Detroit Stage. In 2008 he embarked with his DTM label mates on the “Detroit Techno Militia: RECON:313 European Tour”. The following year Linder teamed up with DJ Seoul as the “DTM 2x4”, a four turntable ensemble performance duo, on the “Detroit Techno Militia Rust Belt Tour”. This tour spanned more than 30 dates in 12 different U.S. states and included a performance at the 2009 DEMF/Movement Festival. The pair teamed up again the next year for the “2010 DTM Solidarity Tour”. This five week long tour culminated with a memorable performance in front of thousands of party-goers at the Pact Festival in Eindhoven, Netherlands. In 2011 they hit the road again for Detroit Techno Militia’s “2011 European Tour”. This six week adventure featured fourteen shows in seven different countries, and an eight hour long performance at the legendary Berlin nightclub, Tresor:Berlin. In 2007, Linder released his first EP entitled DTM002, on Detroit Techno Militia (a record label and artist collective that he co-founded). He quickly followed that release with DTM003. This release gained momentum on world stage when the track he did with vocalist Blak Tony entitled “Respect” was featured on Dave Clarke's "I Love Techno" compilation. Since then, T.Linder has done numerous remix projects and original production work for other labels and continues to release music on Detroit Techno Militia. In the future T.Linder plans to continue doing what he has does best, creating and playing timeless records around the world while asserting his position within the rich history of Detroit Techno. DJ Seoul... DJ Seoul is one of America's leading ambassadors of Detroit Techno and Techno Bass. As a soldier for the Detroit Techno Militia, this powerhouse DJ has been spreading the gospel of Techno throughout the world for the past sixeen years. With lightning fast mixing skills and exceptionally technical scratches and juggles, Seoul brings an energy to the dancefloor that is rarely seen. As a producer, his work on the Detroit Techno Militia record label and his remixes for international labels have garnered him worldwide acclaim. DJ Seoul gives the crowd one hundred percent every time he performs. This energy is clearly visible and reciprocated by the audience. If a citizen of Detroit could be considered an asset, then DJ Seoul would be one of the most beloved. By representing his hometown globally and by playing Detroit Music,

Khombat Podcast #023 feat. Naoko (House of Styles/Pittsburgh) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:20:59

Khombat Podcast #023 feat. Naoko (House of Styles/Pittsburgh) by Khombat Podcast on Mixcloud DOWNLOAD Born and raised in Hikone, Japan, Naoko had very little exposure to modern dance music. Infrequently, she would hear dance music when visiting nearby towns( like Kyoto) but not enough to impact her. It wasn't until she moved to Pittsburgh in 2001, that she was exposed to underground dance music on a consistent basis. A friendship with fellow Japanese visual artists Lab Type-0( who were doing video work on an international level) afforded her the opportunity to attend rave events on every imaginable scale, week after week. She attributes the House of Styles events, and Electrasoul, as primary influences which feuled her passion for Techno. And friendships with Techno artists such as Product 19, Colin Pierce, and Shadowstarr, eventually inspired her to pursue Djing in 2006. In the last 5 years...Naoko has established herself as a crowd favorite, and one of the few representatives of Hard Techno and Acid Techno. She has devistated floors of all sizes w/ her energetic and full throttle sets.  Khombat Podcast #022 feat. Ken Masters | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:52

Real name / Kenneth Martinez Ken Masters came into the scene in 1999 as a promoter at various night clubs in NY such as Roxy, Limelight, Sound Factory, Webster Hall, and Exit. After 8 years of doing promotions, he redirected his focus into music and learned how to dj. Within 2 years since first learning how to mix a beat, he has played all over the east coast from New York to Florida, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Massachusetts and Vermont. His various music styles range from house, deep house, tech house, techno, minimal and funky swing house. Within all these genres of music he is able to open and close any party and can work any crowd to keep their booties bouncing and shoulders shaking. It does not matter to him if he’s only playing for one person or 10,000 as long as his music can reach that one person and they can feel it deep down in their soul. On top of managing his netlabel bleepsequence, releasing his own music on various digital and vinyl labels (Slant, From 0-1, Subsensory), and performing as a dj, vj, or liveact across the U.S., Revy shows no signs of slowing down.  Khombat Podcast #016 feat. Andy James | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:28

Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Andy James was inspired by earlier electronic groups like Kraftwerk, New Order, Depeche Mode, Meat Beat Manifesto, Orbital, 808 State, and Underworld. He started to spin records and go to parties regularly in 1998. Andy has rocked dancefloors all over the United States with his brand of bangin’ funky techno beats. Some of the DJs/Producers he has played alongside are Richie Hawtin, Barem, Dan Bell, John Tejada, 3 Channels, Ryan Crosson, Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, Someone Else, Damian Lazarus, Shawn Rudiman, Dan Curtin, and Stacey Pullen amongst others. Definitely not stranger to the mixtape/cd, Andy has recorded 20+ mixes that you can usually find archived around the global techno community via the internet. Also a self-confessed studio junkie, Andy has been known to lock himself in his bedroom studio for days meticulously working on a single loop or track. Groovy, hypnotic, dynamic, floor-shaking, and always rhythmic are the best words to describe his sound. Andy’s first release came in October 2007 on Ohio net-label Tek-Know? Since then he released a four track EP on Argentinian net-label Miniatura and most recently he did a remix for Oliver Dodd on Chicago label Klectik. 2012 looks to be a busy year with scheduled releases on Noise Complaint Records, Khombat, & SweetDrop Digital.   DOWNLOAD   1.
