I was recently honored to be a speaker in the incredible Health at Every Size (HAES) Master Class that Golda Poretsky of Body Love Wellness organized. When Golda asked me to speak, I decided I wanted to share 5 simple tips to make yoga work for you. I'm so excited to share that talk with you now! In the talk, I discuss how much HAES and yoga speak to each other in my life (the philosophies are so similar!). Description: This is a time of year when weâre often asked to reflect. So in this practice, weâre going to invite in reflection, intention and attention -- cultivating an awareness of our body that we can use as a springboard for showing it more love. This practice incorporates a number of standing poses to get you really grounded and ends with a brief loving-kindness meditation. Rollin’ with the Curves: Yoga Destressing for the Holidays
Description: I donât know about you, but this time of year (close enough to the holidays to start getting panicky but far enough away that Iâm not yet packing my suitcase) is one where I need extra doses of self-care. In this class, weâre going to focus on twists--wringing out stress and making extra space in our bodies and hearts for love.
