 MSP: 011 – Travel Agents | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 29:30

Today we discuss the advantages of using a travel agent, your best kept secret to getting more for your vacation while also saving you personal time and money. Download it directly with this link Subscribe with your favorite Podcatcher: Audio feed | Stitcher Subscribe in iTunes: Audio feed Listen to it here with the player below Link to Disney World Brochure Link to Disneyland eBrochure Link to Disney Aulani eBrochure Link to Adventures By Disney eBrochure To Request a free, no obligation quote...   Why Book your vacation with a Travel Agent? Saving money on your vacation or travel budget is great, but most people do not know they can save money and have an additional peace of mind at no additional cost to them! Do you want to know what the secret is to saving money, working less and thus get more from your vacation budget? Consider the following reasons when deciding for your family. Simplicity: Your Agent has already done the research required to design a vacation unique to your family’s comfort. Convenient no-hold times as you are dealing directly with one Agent, as opposed to a call-bank where you are told “your call will be answered in the order it was recieved”. Graduate of  the “College of Disney Knowledge”: This comes complete with your Travel Agent having literally earned their ears. Special Mickey Ears with a graduates tassel are received after completing the program. Disney Travel Company has kindly setup a program to achieve a recognized level of understanding and appreciation for the Disney Destinations. This certification process will prove that your Travel Agent is qualified and knows how to provide the experience that Disney wants to share with their guests even before they arrive at the resorts or cruise ship. All in an effort to allow you to enjoy the vacation planning experience, instead of dreading the reservation process. Call me your Personal Concierge: As an Agent, we are able to go to any length needed to find the best pricing on hotel accomodations, park tickets, food and dining plan suggestions matched specifically to you, adding the option of FREE Disney airport transportation to name a few. We can answer questions for you at any time of the day or night, not just a window of “business hours” availability. The wonderful perk is that we keep track of any discounts that become available after your initial booking. Based on those new savings, we have the privilege of notifying you directly and then applying them. You are able to have peace of mind knowing that whether it be before or during your vacation, you can contact us with any last minute changes and we take it from there. Organization: This is an area that many families can identify with. By the time you get to the packing and leaving stage, you’re usually to stressed out to have all paper information organized and in hand. And once you step through the gates of the park, the sheer magnitude is so overwhelming you may not know what to start with. And in the case of having park hopper tickets, which park to start in. “Never fear, Peter is hear”, we get to help as Peter Pan did, by starting you out with a complimentary personalized itinerary for your trip as a whole. This gives you a general outline of your flight info and days you’re away, including little cheat cards with parade times, park hours, fireworks, FastPass locations and tips to remember for maintaining health while in the parks.  MSP: 008 – Walt Disney World : Golf | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 39:43

There are many different facets to Walt Disney World that many people may not even know about. For Show #008 we have a great conversation with Marc from The Unofficial Walt Disney World Golf Guide and www.wdwgolf.com. We'll talk briefly about the courses and their design, plus the recent change from Disney Management running the Golf Courses to having Arnold Palmer Golf Management running the operations of the Golf Courses. Download it directly with this link Subscribe with your favorite Podcatcher: Audio feed | Stitcher Subscribe in iTunes: Audio feed Listen to it here with the player below Link to Disney Brochure including Golf Marc's Article on Arnold Palmer Golf Management at WDW Courses: Architect - Joe Lee (Palm, Magnolia and LBV), Tom Fazio (Osprey Ridge). The former Eagle Pines course, which closed in 2007 as part of the Four Seasons resort development, was designed by Pete Dye. Osprey Ridge is scheduled to transition to the new Four Seasons Resort, which is being built next to the new Disney Golden Oak community. Osprey is scheduled to make that transition sometime next year, while the resort is scheduled to open in 2014. This entire plan has been impacted by the recession and is running a few years behind schedule. After the transition of Osprey Ridge, Disney World will be back to the original three Joe Lee courses, plus Oak Trail. Amenities - Full clubhouse with locker room facilities at each course. Driving range and practice greens at each as well. Challenge/Difficulty level - Championship caliber courses, though as with most, proper selection of tees makes the courses playable for all skill levels. Events: PGA Tour - This is the last year of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals sponsorship. Thus the future of the event is logically in question, as Disney and Palmer Golf will be looking for a new title sponsor. This activity should begin soon, if not already, as the PGA Tour event was just held last week. There have been a variety of title sponsors over the years, so it will be interesting to see what happens in the coming months.
