Wayne and I actually review a novel!  We review X-Wing: Wraith Squadron  by Aaron Allston.  We get back to our roots.  There is no guest today.  We just break down a novel and chase quite a few rabbits. In this episode, we have two interviews.  First we chat with head writer of Star Wars: the Clone Wars Matt Michnovetz.  It is a fascinating look behind the curtain of this great animated series.  Then, we chat with co-host of "R2 in 22" Jen who is a lot of fun and we discuss her podcast. Then, Wayne and I finish up the Michael Stackpole quadrilogy with X-Wing: The Bacta War.  We break down this novel and this series. Michael Stackpole returns to break down and discuss X-Wing: Wedge's Gamble or X-Wing: The Krytos Trap.  He gives us more great behind the scenes information on the X:Wing series.  He gives us the background of how he came up with the Krytos virus and his inspiration for his super prison.  Also, he tells how the trial of the century altered the writing of X:Wing: The Krytos.  He also discusses a few writers that inspired him and which books he would take onto a desert island.  All of that an much more.  It's great, great stuff! Then, Wayne and I dive deeply into X-Wing: The Krytos Trap.  To maintain the movie comparison motif, we share with you how this book is The Shawshank Redemtion and A Few Good Men rolled into one. In today's episode, we interview Star Wars Essential Guide author and Mets blogger Jason Fry.  We of course do not begin by talking Star Wars.  We talk some baseball and have fun doing it.  Then, we dive into Jason Fry's latest Star Wars project and discuss the Essential Guide to Warfare.  We discuss how the artwork and the writing came together.  We break down the editing process of taking on such a large project.  Then, we have great fun discussing naming character such as red 12 and making large section flow when they were not written to flow like the Clone Wars.  We have great fun discussing war in Star Wars. In today's episode, we interview X-Wing architect Michael Stackpole.  He shares what the Star Wars trivia contest was like between Timothy Zahn and himself, the background of the some of his X-Wing characters, the creation of the X-Wing series, and so much more.  He was a blast and even covers where the name of his website, www.stormwolf.com, could have gotten it's name. Then, Wayne and I review Mr. Stackpole's X-Wing: Wedge's Gamble. In today's episode, Wayne and I interview Jeff Grubb, who most of you will know as one of the newest Star Wars authors with his book Scourge, but Mr. Grubb has been a apart of the Star Wars universe for quite some time as a writer in the RPG quadrant of the Star Wars Universe.  He has also written for PC games, novels, comics, and much more.  He was a lot of fun to chat with, and we hope you enjoy learning about co-authoring with his wife, the story behind the title of Scourge, what it's like to write in these various area, his RPG playing days, and much more. Then, Wayne and I break down Scourge and review the book itself.  We talk about the characters, the plot, the Hutts, and all kinds of good stuff from this novel including is plot twist at the end. Happy Epiversary to you, and thank you so much for listening.  In today's show, we talk about what you want us to talk about.  We have ten topics that come from you our beloved listener.  We babble and ramble on a wide variety of topics ranging from: what books would we like to read, which Star Wars books would we like to see written, the Traviss controversy, the EA boycott, can you be a Jedi, what does balance the force mean and so much more. I do let my religion show, and I hope I don't offend you, but I got fired up and couldn't hold back.
