We’re back!  So… on our way back from recording this podcast, we got a little lost in the Phantom Zone (we took a left turn at Flashpoint, and then got stuck in the New 52 before we finally found a way home).  So what do we have for you?   A little look at the Doom Patrol/Suicide Squad Special from 1988. You’re welcome.

We’re looking at Doom Patrol #6 and we’re getting to the bottom of what happened to Cliff Steele.  If the dude is dead… how did he manage to appear in the five previous issues of this series?  We start to uncover the truth right now.

We’re looking at Doom Patrol #60 and the Candlemaker makes things worse for every one of the Doom Patrol.

We’re looking at Doom Patrol #5, and in this issue, the new Doom Patrol and the not-the Doom Patrol-anymore Doom patrol take on a whole host of Asian demons and beasties. And then at the end of the issue, things get weird.

Remember last time, when things were looking bad for the Doom Patrol and everything was falling apart? Well… in issue #59, it gets worse.

We’re looking at the fourth issue of John Arcudi and Tan Eng Huat’s Doom Patrol and it’s Doom Patrol vs. Doom Patrol vs. a giant Asian sword-wielding, tiger-skin stealing, origami-making dude.

We are looking at John Arcudi and Tan Eng Huat’s second issue of the Doom Patrol and it’s great fun… just the way comics used to be. Good characters… some funny moments… some action… some mystery. And then the team quits.

We are looking at Doom Patrol #56 by Grant Morrison and Richard Case. Crazy Jane is starting to get better… just as the rest of the Doom Patrol is starting to fall apart. And boy oh boy… that last page!!!

It’s a brand new Doom Patrol #1! No… not that one… not that other one! We’re looking at Doom Patrol #1 by John Arcudi and Tan Eng Huat! It’s a great first issue. Come and listen and find out just what we liked about it!

We’re looking at Doom Patrol #55 and everything is starting to come apart at the seams. Rebis is heading off, to do whatever a Rebis does, Crazy Jane is off on her own mission, Dorothy is having issues, and Josh… sigh… poor Josh.

It’s the last issue of Byrne’s run on the Doom Patrol and he wraps everything up in a pretty bow… but still manages to include just a little bit robot on girl lovin’!

Yeah… we’ve been missing for a few weeks. Blame the summer… or the heat… or schedules… in any case, we’re back and we’re looking at Doom Patrol #54. It’s a spotlight issue on Rebis… and it’s weird.
