Government Lies -Police Brutality-Obama Tied To Terrorism? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:03:00

(Segment 1)-Have you ever wondered how the government’s misinformation gains traction?-What I have noticed is that whenever a stunning episode occurs, such as 9/11 or the Boston Marathon bombing, most everyone whether on the right or left goes along with the government’s explanation, because they can hook their agenda to the government’s accoun (Segment 2)- Police Brutality. Are The Police Out of Control? - A California police officer shot and killed an unarmed 22-year-old homeless man at a shopping center earlier this week and an eyewitness captured the murder on cell phone video. Hans Kevin Arellano, 22, was shot and killed by a police officer after a confrontation. (Segment 3)- Obamas Ties To Terrorism,Is Obamas Brother Linked To The Muslim Brotherhood?- President Obama’s half-brother in Kenya could cause the White House more headaches over new evidence linking him to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and establishing that controversial IRS supervisor Lois Lerner signed his tax-exempt approval letter.  Join The Discussion @ 424-222-5255

The Coming Attack on Syria | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:01:00

US President Barack Obama says the US has concluded that the Syrian government carried out a chemical weapons attacks near Damascus. He said the use of chemical weapons affected US national interests and sending a "shot across the bows" could have a positive impact on Syria's war. But in the interview with PBS, he said he had not yet made a decision about whether to intervene militarily. His comments follow a day of behind-the-scenes wrangling at the UN.

Anniversary Of The Dream - Open Conversation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:04:00

In the speech, King incorporated quotations from patriotic and religious documents to put the struggle of racial inequality "in the context of the great principles of American history. Waving the banner for progress, King did not condemn the ills of hatred and malice that often permeated day-to-day news of racial conflicts with minced words and an angry fist.   Instead, King meshed the cadence of a Baptist preacher with the credence of a man who was well-versed not only in the history of African-Americans in the United States, but America itself.   ing pulled phrases from the Declaration of Independence, the Emancipation Proclamation and even the song "America (My Country, 'Tis of Thee)" to drive his points home   "He's saying, 'Hey, this is the rhetoric upon which our country was founded   "These political documents were forged so that we have a system of sustainability that outlined humanity, but also the political rights that have been given to all of God's children."   Join The Conversation @424-222-5255

Cold War 2.0 "Dawn of War" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:00

When the Soviet threat disappeared 20 years ago, the military-security complex was at a loss. A new threat was needed to keep the money and power flowing into the military-security complex.  China wasn’t an option. Its new leaders were embracing capitalism, and China was on its way to becoming Washington’s largest foreign creditor. How do you bash your banker?  Moreover, China was welcoming American corporations that had discovered that it was profitable to produce in China the goods and services that they sold in US markets.  The influential American interests that were becoming allies with China caused the military-security complex to look elsewhere for an enemy.   With the help of the neoconservatives, the military-security complex found the enemy in the Muslim Middle East among the independent states that were not US puppets.Tonight on BreakFree Monday we will discuss Americas Foreign Policy   Join The Conversation @ 424-222-5255

The ABC show: Dissecting the news or "Let's ask questions" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:00

On this episode of the ABC Show, I want to talk about how we think about the news. How do you take in the information coming from the media? Do you accept the information as fact? Are you skeptical? Do you cross reference today's news with previous news and stories? And what are some of the "filters" that prevent us from critical thinking? This world is in the condition that it is because too many of us are unwilling to think for ourselves. We need to be taught how to think again. Matthew 18:3  "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."   Join ABC to discuss current events, the new world order, and this illusion of a false reality that is, in fact, the Matrix.

Citizens Primetime Show | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:00

1st hr In three weeks, the one-year anniversary of Benghazi will happen.  One year on, there are still no answers but there are now even more questions. What really happened in Benghazi?   What was that outpost really for since it was not a consulate?  Were there really four hundred American surface to air missiles taken from that compound and were they destined for Syria? The conventional wisdom is that it is never the actual scandal that brings down a politician but the cover-up.   It is the cover-up in Benghazi that has never made sense, unless there is something really damaging involved. 2nd hr- Voter Supression In North Carolina-  the North Carolina legislature passed the country’s worst voter suppression law after only three days of debate. Rick Hasen of Election Law Blog called it “the most sweeping anti-voter law in at least decades” The bill mandates strict voter ID to cast a ballot (no student IDs, no public employee IDs, etc.), even though 318,000 registered voters lack the narrow forms of acceptable ID according to the state’s own numbers and there have been no recorded prosecutions of voter impersonation in the past decade. The bill cuts the number of early voting days by a week, even though 56 percent of North Carolinians voted early in 2012.  Join The Conversation @ 424-222-5255

Whats Going on in Egypt? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:16:00

Morsi was Egypt's first democratically elected leader after winning the first post-Hosni Mubarak presidential election with just under 52 percent of the vote. His rise to the helm of power was a sharp reversal for the Muslim Brotherhood, repressed for decades under Mubarak's rule, and it was part of a general rise to power of Islamists following the Arab Spring wave of revolutions that led to the ouster of Mubarak and autocratic leaders in Tunisia and Libya.   But Morsi faced a backlash as liberal and secular activists accused him and the Brotherhood of trying to monopolize power and failing to implement much-needed social and economic reforms. Morsi and his backers argued they were doomed to fail because of constant protests and efforts to undermine his government. His government also drew criticism over a series of charges and complaints against activists, journalists and TV personalities, including well-known satirist Bassem Youssef, for insulting Morsi and even sometimes for insulting Islam.   An activist group called Tamarod, or Rebel in Arabic, drew millions to the streets to call for Morsi's ouster on June 30, the anniversary of his inauguration. The powerful military responded by taking Morsi into custody on July 3 and forming an interim civilian leadership.   Tonight we will be joined by Special Guest John Bernard   Join The Conversation @ 424-222-5255

Military Madness: Has our Species become Insane? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:04:00

Helen Caldicott is the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and a world renowned campaigner against nuclear weapons. She says that our species is ‘mentally sick…   The whole society is sick’. We are in the grip of a death wish. She points out that 1 in 25 people are sociopaths with ‘no moral conscience’ and these are the people who rise to the top; who are in charge. Is she right? Have we really become insane? There is good reason to believe so. By insane behaviour I am referring to avoidable behaviour which will result in our own destruction and would be seen as such if we were ‘in our right minds’.   There are many reasons for the belief that much of our behaviour has become insane.Tonight we will discuss these reasons.   Join The Conversation @ 424-222-5255

10 Years Later, U.S. Legacy in Iraq: Death, Disease, Devastation, Displacement- Ten years ago, on March 19-20, 2003, the U.S. invaded Iraq, overthrew the Saddam Hussein regime, and then occupied the country for the next eight and a half years. President George W. Bush said the U.S. went to war to liberate Iraq and “free its people.” What did this U.S. war mean for Iraqis? What does it mean for their future? Afghanistan, Garden of Empire: America’s Multibillion Dollar Opium Harvest- As Obama proclaims that the US adventure in Afghanistan will draw to a close over the next couple years, we may look at the balance sheet with respect to one of the occupation’s alleged justifications: the fight against Afghan heroin. The outcome has been a total failure. In fact, whereas Afghanistan is sometimes referred to as the “graveyard of empires” because throughout history, big powers have attempted, unsuccessfully, to invade and control it, the country can already be labeled as the “garden of empire” because the US/NATO occupation has resulted in a drastic increase in drug production. What’s Wrong with the US Economy and How we Can Fix It- How do we fix the economy? Whats the consequence of doing nothing?  Citizens Primetime -Don't Be Alarmed Its Just the Government | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:04:00

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet “See Something, Say Something” Napolitano says there’s no reason for people’s fears to be raised about a surveillance state, even in the wake of Edward Snowden’s exposing of the NSA’s PRISM project. Besides, we’ve got plenty of checks and balances in place that would prevent any agency from misusing people’s personal data. Napolitano even referred to a “privacy officer” who is “constantly reviewing [their] policies and procedures. That should make us feel better, knowing that they have someone going over their policies all the time. And approving of them. And why shouldn’t we believe that? They want surveillance cameras everywhere. They want surveillance drones everywhere. By 2020, we’ll likely have more than 30,000 drones watching over us. Practically nothing we do is secret anymore. Everything we do on a computer or a cell phone is tracked, monitored, recorded and stored. It sounds like they’re “going willy-nilly and using any kind of data [they] can gather.” Speaking of an “Orwellian state,” remember this from 1984:  "There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. That pretty much describes our situation today in the “land of the free.” The NSA revelations show us that at any given moment, some bureaucrat or some agency might be watching what we’re doing. Watching what you type in your e-mails. Watching how you comment on blogs. Watching which blogs you frequent. Listening to your phone conversations. In fact, they’re probably doing that for everybody. To prevent terrorist attacks, of course. And any of that information could be used against you in a secret court of law
