Today on Insight, you'll meet a man who risked his life to register Black voters in the deep south during the 1960s. Charles Cobb tells you about leaving Howard University in the early 1960s to become a field organizer for the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee and how he came to organize the Freedom Schools during Freedom Summer 1964. "Standing On My Sisters' Shoulders" - A screening of "Standing on My Sisters' Shoulders" takes place this afternoon in Sacramento. The film tells the story of women who fought for Civil Rights change in Missippi. You'll meet two of the stars of the film, Constance Iona Slaughter-Harvey and Betty Pearson.
