Yoga nidra or "yogic sleep" is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of instructions. Yoga nidra or "yogic sleep" is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of instructions. This state of consciousness (yoga nidra) is different to meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. Wear comfy clothes, place a small towel over your eyes and one under your head and lay down in Savasana.
This is the last class of the 30 day Challenge at Power of Your Om. It doesn't matter if you made it to 25 classes in 30 days - by signing up you committed to going beyond the norm. Acknowledge yourself for it. Congrats!
