Reducing Without Ham | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

YES I’m working on recording a new episode of Phedippidations…but meanwhile: let’s talk about food. https://reducetarian.org/why/ https://www.samharris.org/podcast/full_archive

On Vacation with Thoreau | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

I’m taking the week off from work to enjoy some Major League Baseball this week, and have been reacquainting myself with my pal Henry David Thoreau.

WatchCast: Conflicting Philosophies | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

I’m recording this via my Apple Watch on a slightly warmer spring day, while I contemplate the upcoming March for Science. http://edition.pagesuite.com/popovers/article_popover.aspx?guid=e24d9a77-eb9e-4a0d-8039-a91d9e47634f

SNOWMAGGEDDON and the CO2 Thing | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

This episode was recorded during and after the Nor’Easter that hit these parts. Winter is back with a vengeance…and speaking of that…I’ve got a few things to say about a certain head of the EPA and his very silly opinions. https://www.pri.org/stories/2017-03-12/heres-why-new-epa-chief-pruitt-absolutely-wrong-about-co2-and-climate-change http://edition.pagesuite.com/popovers/article_popover.aspx?guid=0d39982e-06ee-4ce1-9cf6-ea259c691049 https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-environment/wp/2017/03/09/on-climate-change-scott-pruitt-contradicts-the-epas-own-website/?utm_term=.8849f179759e

I watched a great documentary last night that I can’t stop thinking about. With Global Warning and the Trump Show consuming our conversations, maybe there’s a better way to change the hearts and minds of those who oppose the truth. Check out: http://accidentalcourtesy.com

March for Science - OVERWHELMING Evidence | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

On Earth Day, April 22nd, I’ll be marching for SCIENCE…in Boston. Global Warming is the single most important concern in Human History (yeah, for the ENTIRE history of humanity…this TRUMPS every other concern.) In the weeks leading up to the March, I’m going to make this case using OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE. Here are some links of interest: https://www.engadget.com/2017/02/01/march-for-science-on-april-22/ http://www.bostonmagazine.com/news/blog/2017/01/27/boston-science-march/ https://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/ http://www.cru.uea.ac.uk/

Say Something Nice | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

When I was growing up (not that I’ve stopped), my Mom would engage us children, every day, with some kind of a “mental exercise”. Instead of watching TV, we were forced (oh the horror) to read books (laugh if you will, but I read every installment of “Little House on the Prarie” and loved it). WHen it came to social quandries, she was equally instructive. Now that we’re in the “Age of the Trumpers” it’s time for me to take my Mom’s advice and say something nice. Five things in fact.

A Better Way to Survive the Trump Show | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

I’m talking about gadgets, baseball and in the end: Trump. Asking the question “What if he’s not a bad guy”. Hear me out.

Yummy Crow | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

An update for you in this first of 2017 episode of Intervals, and some words of encouragement for the new 'Merican POTUS...no, seriously.

Happy 17th Year of the 3rd Millennium | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

I'm not into making "New Year Resolutions", but I am looking forward to the new year as a time where I'm going to make some positive changes in my life. How about you?

Return to The Paper | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

How do you get your news? For me, it’s been a long winded journey from online sources to NewRadio and apps and finally, back to the News Paper that my Dad and siblings would read around the kitchen table.

All I Have Left of Her | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Surprisingly I didn’t break open the computer while on vacation in Florida, I focused on the “present” and enjoyed both Key West and time with three of my grandchildren. The first week of December is special to me, for both the good things and bad things that happened over the years, during that week. On this episode of Intervals, I’m pondering the idea that “pain” is not always a bad thing, maybe. Or, I could just be full of crap. (Wouldn’t be the first time). Happy Birthday Kaiya.

Key West with Murph and The Captain | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

I had a fantastic vacation over the past two weeks, but it was the Red Sox encounters that I want to share with you on this episode of Intervals.

Hey? Are You Okay? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

So the election is over and once again Drumpf has won, because he's a winner...and always wins BIGLY. So, what are those of us who didn't vote for him supposed to do now? Abide. The Dude Abides.

Election Day | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

It's not the best choice, but it is the ONLY choice. Vote Hillary for President, because the world cannot afford a Trump Presidency, and you will have to answer the question "What did you do to stop him from being elected?". Do not fall for the "false equivalency".
