The Migs Cast

This is a short special edition of the Migscast as Migs chats with Gavin Rossdale from Bush!  Bush is putting out a new record, The Kingdom, on July 17th.  Gavin and Steve talk about what Gavin has been up to during the CoronaVirus lockdown, and Gavin recaps watching Migs play drums with Stone Temple Pilots at Pain In The Grass from a few years ago.

This week the fellas chat about the Coronavirus and how it’s hurting the arts scene.  Plus Migs reviews Ray Donavan, and Glenn and Rev discuss the movie Us.  Glenn also chats about his tour being cancelled   Plus DJ Aoki remixed the “Poop My Pants” song!

We are without The Rev again, but we had our buds Chris and Justin from "This Week In Seattle Rock" podcast join us.  We chat about doing podcasts, the corana virus, and playing the guitar!  We also get to a bunch of voicemails!

This week it's just Glenn and Migs as The Rev is out of town for family stuff.  The guys chat about the CoronaVirus...learning to drive as kids...and Glenn shares a crazy story about an experience he had at a Burger King Drive-Thru! Plus the guys review Van Halen's 0U812...and add another reason why Wyatt needs to bring them a bag of Dicks!

This week we welcome Noel T Austin (about 30 minutes in on the cast), owner and operator of DNAS fashions.  Noel is also a performance artist, and is currently having a documentary made about him.  Noel joined us to share the music of his son, who is unfortunately no longer with us.  Noel also shared an insane story about how he ended up in jail, as well as other stories about his life.  It’s a fascinating listen for sure! This week the fellas chat about the history of sourdough bread, General Tso’s, and shoe horns.  Plus we discuss family arguments and Glenn’s upcoming tour! Rev does the show wearing contacts for the first time.  Also, the guys geek out about a cool band called Death Valley Gypsies...a band that Glenn is playing with when his band (Glenn Cannon and the Damage Done) hits Oakland for their West Coast tour. 

This week Migs puts the fear of God into the Rev. Glenn shares a crazy story about...well...just listen! Steve shares his adventures in being a dad. Migs also talks about his loss to Chris Bey at Without A Cause wrestling on Sunday.  We also chat about the old person cult the Rev is starting.  Plus the guys chat with the fellas in Cryptamnesia about their upcoming show at El Corozon on February 3rd.

This week the guys go down a rabbit hole of music as they discuss music that you can "trip out" to.  This all stemmed from their debate over the music selection used in the awesome TV show, "Godfather Of Harlem."  The guys play some voicemails, which seem to be targeting Steve...and the fellas debate:  wings or drummies.
