With Guild Wars 2's release date finally announced (August 28th, 2012 for those living under a rock), you knew a podcast would be right around the corner! This round consists of Faelor, Arithion, Quark, and a new voice for some; Qstrike (B&C video producer). With the language filter set to low, the team goes over why they are concerned about a release date of less than two months. Weighing in at nearly 80 minutes, the Boons & Conditions podcast returns! Faelor, Luperza, Zomoa, and Quark discuss their impressions of beta weekend event #2. Faelor grabs resident PVP experts Esloan and Luperza to break down one of Guild War 2's most anticipated modes: World vs World. The discussion totals nearly an hour, going over the very basics, how it drew inspiration from other games, and potential problems ArenaNet could face trying to handle the behemoth at release.In addition to bringing an always entertaining podcast, we managed to grab a beta key from PAX East! To be in the running for this contest, you need to reply to this news entry using your Facebook or Twitter account (if they are already linked to our commenting system Disqus, you're already set!). That entry needs to be a constructive comment; describing what you liked about the podcast, why you do or do not look forward to WvW, raise a question to one of the co-hosts, etc. In addition to this, you need to follow and/or like B&C page with the same Twitter or Facebook account to be a valid entry. We will stop accepting submissions as soon as the clock strikes midnight on Friday, April 13th, PDT (UTC -7). We will use a random number generator to determine the winner and contact the individual shortly afterwards. If they do not respond within 48 hours, we will then select another winner and so on.CLARIFICATION Today on Twitter, ArenaNet stated the beta key will only be for the next beta weekend event. This is news to the entire community, and we're a little bummed this isn't access for all events. If you are pre-purchasing the game (which is different than pre-ordering), you will be getting a similar beta key for all events and have no need for this. Otherwise, feel free to participate in case you are pre-ordering or would like to grab it for a friend so they can play with you! This episode Faelor, Arithion, Luperza, and newcomer Esloan talk about the footage released from the most recent press beta. As footage is still slowly being released the crew could only grapple a few topics for this episode including; the evolution of dynamic events, criticisms regarding the combat system, and if the difficulty of dungeons will fracture the community. In addition to all the Guild Wars 2 related news clarification of the B&C project is discussed, along with some hints as to what is coming up in the future.

Faelor managed to find enough blackmail to bring Arithion and Luperza back on the show, along with PVP guru Zomoa They discuss the first batch of beta invites, the ArenaNet blog regarding community, and then go into roundtable mode about what e-Sports are and how Guild Wars 2 will not only be breaking onto but changing the competitive scene as we know it.

In response to a dare from ArenaNet, the first ever B&C podcast is recorded in the mono format instead of stereo. At least that's the story Faelor told the rest of the B&C crew. This week is focused on ArenaNet's latest blog regarding attributes and traits!
