In this episode we talk about Matthew's decision to go to College, our upcoming trip to Nashville, my (Cliff's) trip to the Smokey Mountains, and various other random items.
In this episode... I tell Stephanie about my experience of seeing other people age around me but never really imagining aging myself. That is until I recently worked with a coaching client who, when I told him that I got married in 1996, he said... "I would have been 3 years old." We also share our thoughts on the movie "Love Happens" with Jennifer Anniston and Aaron Eckhart. This is a movie from 2009 that Stephanie found while browsing the Netflix catalog. This led us into a discussion about Imposter Syndrome and life coaching. A few other topics pop up, including what we wore to see the "F9" move on date night.
Now that 415 previous episodes of the Family From The Heart podcast are now available. Meagan is going back through the archives and listening to episodes that Stephanie and I did when she was younger. Imagine our kids choosing a "This Week 7 Years Ago" kind of approach to listening to this particular podcast. Stephanie and I also mention that we are about to celebrate our 25th year of marriage coming up in August. This spawned a fun conversation about how much has changed in our relationship over the years. The conversation gives a hint as to why we are still madly in love with one another today. The end of the episode is a lot of fun as well. We are back! Stephanie and I have decided to return to the microphone to share the random experiences of our lives as a married couple. It doesn't get more random that this episode. First, I (Cliff) start off with a tech monolog that goes on for the first 18 minutes of the episode. After that, we talk about our feelings related to the fact that Progressive Insurance wants to track our every move. Stephanie shares her feelings about how Chipotle is going down hill. We both discuss the current situation where people are being incentivized not to work and how businesses, both big and small, are having a hard time finding employees. We are thrilled to be back behind the microphone.
