On November 10th, 1775, the 2nd Continental Congress created two battalions of Marines. The Marines have since carved out a place in the annals if history. Today's show is dedicated to the men and women of the United States Marine Corps and to the the veterans of the Untied States.

The 2012 election is today. we all need to get out and do our best to change this nation. Long time listeners will know that my view of our nation is grim. We have a president that has repeatedly violated his oath of office, the constitution and has even ordered the murder of a US citizen without due process of law. We have numerous legislators around the nation that are more concerned with the power they wield than actually maintaining our civil liberties and allowing or nation to once again become free. As we vote today please reflect on the state of our nation and the truth behind all of the candidates not just the ones that you see on TV.

Americans are familiar with mud slinging. We have had a front seat to it for the lest two years while the race for 1600 has been going on. Whether slinging mud or wrestling in it we love it. Unless it's being put on us and that is what I'm here to talk about today. The Discovery Channel is doing a bit of mud slinging. A few months back National Geographic did something similar with Preppers and Survivalist. Now militias are getting slopped with mud and it is the responsibility of people like me to stand up and explain why this documentary is complete bunk. I'm going to tear into this show and talk about how militias, none state certified militias could be formatted. This is a touchy topic for many and one that we need to watch very closely.

I know that I have tendency to look at the worst way things could be. But lets look at the last few days and really get into the lessons that we need to take away. From principals about looting and bugging out to some friendly advice about Halloween.

There is one man whose expertise I will always defer to a giant in the self defense industry. Today I am joined by Mass to talk about some of the worst things that you can do as someone who carries concealed. As you listen to this and wonder why I asked Mass her to ask about this he had been teaching self-defense since 1981... the same year that your humble host was born. He has been a cop for 38 years and is currently 6-0 with Janet Reno. We'll talk about the "Good Shoot", Alteration of evidence and some funky thing called a willful tort.

Today we have little history lesson about the idea that the potential for a modern reenactment of WWII in WWIII but I think that the elements in place as we are seeing them now are closer to WWI and it might have the potential to pass go collect $200 and proceed to WWIIIII. We'll return to reality for a talk about Slings, AR-15 pistols and the look about being in shape and no round is not a shape.

Some rifles are pretty sweet. They can be worth thousands of dollars and be a fine example of machinery. They are machines. These machines like many others need us to support them and today I will talk about the things that you should think about when you have your rifle all trimmed out. From where to keep a few extra mags to the things to consider having to support your rifle, pistol or shotgun when something goes bump in the night.

For many of us there is a little tickle in the back of our minds when it comes to why it is that we carry. There are some really great chest thumping lines out there on the internet tagged to the bottom of motifak pictures. But what are the things that do bump in the night? What are the things that go bump in the light of day? Today we are going to look into what it is that goes click inside us that compels us to carry a firearm.

The super villain to the average 30 something now is a bit of a joke. The hero will come in and save the day. That isn't the way things really work... at least not in the real world. There is evil out there but it doesn't need a mask or some rhetorical gimmicky costume. But what if? What if there was something that bad out there.

The living dead are something that have become a main stay in the shooting and preparedness community and today Sarah and I take a look at the wild world of Zombies. We talk about how this could really happen and we talk about why this is such a scary thing.

Why is it that the United States is so willing to employ belligerent military action without looking at the diplomatic avenues. We'll look at how there is one incident that has muddies the waters around diplomatic options. Strangely the event that has done this is not an American event though there were Americans involved. We'll look over this event and how it is still holding us back and costing American lives today.

In the News today is obviously the historic 24 mile jump from space but let's be a little more down to earth. We'll look and snicker at the joke that is now the Nobel Prize will take us to Switzerland. After that we stop at them mirror to examine Race in America before hopping to Iraq and looking at the generational impact of war. Before we hop into the topic of the show we have to address the story of a naked man killed by a campus cop. From here we'll look at the things that civilians need to know about force before we talk about the subject of "Other Weapons. Today the two items we'll focus on are pepper spray and the taser. These are the two weapons that the media tries to play off as the magical talismans that will religate the gun to nothing more than a paper weight. To bad none of these tool bags listen to this show.

This is an interesting episode where we talk about being pro-gun while also being anti-war, owning a weapon that is compatible with those used by the military and can be readily supported by that logistical supply train. Very briefly we talk about Turkey and Syria before covering a little bit more on the subject of home defense in one of the worst cases that could ever exist. Before we wrap up we talk about AR-s and even the one shinning reason that it might be a good idea that you build an AR-Pistol. Part of the human condition is stress. From one's job to the things that can happen to us in the most extreme situation. We need to understand how this works when it comes to our mind. the military and law enforcement have leaned through trial and error what works and what doesn't work. Understanding and mastering stress or even getting one step closer to control can mean the difference between life and death.
