Lack of guarding on machinery continues to be a significant cause of workplace deaths and injuries. Guarding is required for all types of plant and equipment where there is a risk of contact with dangerous parts. This can include items as diverse as brake presses, conveyors and some office equipment. This session is broken into two parts. Part Two needs to be viewed in conjunction with the powerpoint presentation as it covers practical ways to guard plant in workplaces.
