Zelda Universe was back to attend E3 again this year, and we have a lot of Nintendo E3 news to cover! Playable demos of A Link Between Worlds and The Wind Waker HD were available, and we had the chance to interview Zelda series director Eiji Aonuma while at E3. It's time for another ZU Podcast this week! This podcast, Humulos and Erimgard are here to discuss what Nintendo has in store for us at the upcoming E3 convention. While Nintendo will not be doing a traditional keynote presentation this year, they will likely be making announcements through their Nintendo Direct presentations instead. The ZU Podcast is back, and this time we've moved to video format and will be uploading all of our podcasts on our YouTube channel! Zelda Universe is ringing in the new year in exciting ways! Just last week we released our official t-shirts and today we’re proud to present a totally new installation of the Zelda Universe Podcast. With a new, albeit not too unfamiliar format, we’re bringing you a full hour of audio goodness. In this episode, we talk about the the Wii U, Nintendo’s brand new console. Our hosts Hombre and humulos, with guest hosts Cody and Lysia, discuss Nintendo Land, The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest, the future of Zelda and multi-platform games. In-between discussions, we have forum-goer and podcast segment creator EzloSpirit (who has even more content in his own segment thread), who muses on the music in Skyward Sword with guests Emma and Mitch. Afterwards, new podcast team inductee Raptor Buddha provides a reading of his own Zelda fanfiction, Another Day At the Office. We’re also experimenting with a new format for the ZU Podcast that will let us continue releasing podcasts regularly in the future, so please give us your feedback in the comments or on the forums! While some may have thought we faded into obscurity of the great void, ZUBC is back after some technical problems and whatever other excuses we want to use. While a full episode is in the works right now, today we release a relaxed discussion with Hombre De Mundo and Ezlo Spirit about what the 25th Anniversary of Zelda brought to us this year.

Hombre de Mundo and his Zelda Informer nemesis, Erimgard, discuss all things related to Skyward Sword! These two gentlemen, who have been around the Zelda community for years, share their views on the latest Zelda; gameplay, storyline and what it means for the furture of the series. Like I promised last week, here's our Skyward Sword podcast! Obviously, we're focusing strongly on our newest Zelda game because, honestly, that's what most of us have been obsessing over for the last few weeks. We do have our usual community-related news and even something quirky from the likes of Ezlospirit, but Skyward Sword pretty much has the spotlight this podcast! You may remember over the past week we've reported on the single orchestrated track being included and recently found on Ocarina of Time 3DS. We can now proudly say that we have found a high quality version for your listening pleasure. As mentioned in previous posts, the track is a beautiful medley that combines the Hyrule Field and overworld themes. Enjoy! (Once again, this is not a podcast, just an mp3 file.)
