Here's the recording of my set at our 8th Birthday last Friday at the Sub Club, it's pretty raw - sounds like it was recorded inside a vacuum cleaner, but the full energy from the club is represented. Floating Points absolutely smashed it again and we will upload his set for you soon, but for now you get a real taste of the Numbers dancefloor - people doing techno karaoke, snapshots of Glasgow patter through the mic (check 29.30 for why i love Glasgow), plus the white noise of the smoke machine and folk banging the plastic side of the DJ booth. A Jackmaster tribute to Lory D. We are bringing the enigmatic Italian Techno producer over for a one-off date at London's Plastic People. Joining him is one of our favourite new producers, Blawan. He’s got some immense new material due out on R+S soon and was also responsible for the one of the best Hessle Audio releases of 2010 (Fram). Hosted by Numbers DJ Goodhand.

On this here mix Slackk’s takes us through the sounds of early Chicago and Detroit House, Grime, Funky, 2010 anthems from Breach and Girl Unit plus his own reworkings of Cassie, New Edition and The Isley Brothers.

New podcast time and this one comes from the mighty Girl Unit, the man behind IRL and Wut. Tweak-A-Holic #2 Mixed by Jackmaster. Freestyle / Disco sh*t. Lots of 80's hits that were re-made into shite dance tunes due to their absolute belter status. More instances of the word 'baby' than in any other mix ever created.

The final episode of a series of recordings from our Barcelona party is this beast of a mix from Rustie. His new record Sunburst EP is out on Monday October 4th on Warp Records and we've teamed up with our friends at Deadly Rhythm to hold a launch party for it this Friday at Camp in London. Rustie will be playing live plus there will be support from Harmonic 313, Untold and Jam City.

Next up in a series of recordings from our June Barcelona party is this set from everyone’s favourite Garage Miserablist and If U Want Me producer – Deadboy.

Bare Blips, the debut EP from Redinho is out today. You can grab it on vinyl and digital from your favourite record store. To accompany the release of Bare Blips we are podcasting the mix he did for MaryAnne Hobbs Radio 1 show back in May. This features tracks from Bare Blips and a few snippets of what’s to come from the man like Redinho. On Friday, Mary Anne announced the sad news that she is leaving BBC Radio 1. We’d like to say a public thanks from Numbers for all the airplay + support over the years, and all the best for the future.

These guys run the Butterz Blog which is our first point of call for all things Grime and have just recently launched a label of the same name. The mix aptly titled ’35 Minutes of Grime’ features beats from SRC whose Gold Coinz EP we released earlier this year plus Terror Danjah, Wiley and Jammer.

Here is the first part in a series of recordings from our room at the Something Very, Very Epic Party that happened at Razzmatazz in Barcelona during the Sonar weekend. This first mix is by L-Vis 1990. Alongside Bok Bok he runs London's Night Slugs club and label, has recorded solo for Mad Decent and Dress 2 Sweat, plus we just released his remix of Mr Mageeka's 'Different Lekstrix'. We've re-upped this vintage Jackmaster mix from a few years ago to get you all in the mood for this weeks Sonar Festival in Barcelona. Think of it as the soundtrack to the 80's Spanish holiday you never had.
