[My Baby Monsters: coloring story 15] Baby Monsters Digg n' Dugg | File Type: application/pdf | Duration: Unknown

Baby Monsters Digg n' Dugg just got back from a trip to the past. They wanted to learn more hieroglyphics (which is a special way of writing with pictures instead of letters), so they visited Egyptian history. There they met a little boy named Tut. Actually, he was a pharaoh (which is like a king) and his full name was Nebkheperure Tutankhamun, but he said to call him King Tut. King Tut didn't have much time to play – since he was only nine years old when he became the ruler of Egypt (3,300 years ago) – but he knew all about hieroglyphs, so he turned Baby Monsters Digg n' Dugg into one. Do you know what they discover next? Share your story To share your own story, just print out My Baby Monsters Storytelling Coloring Page (or load it into your favorite painting program). Then write on the tubes and color the picture. When you're finished, you can send me a copy and I can put it online. Have fun, -- Josie (and dad)

 - A very special episode: the children's book that started it all (My Baby Monsters and I went to the Park... a playful storytelling audiobook podcast with some Peter and the Wolf-like classical music by the authors) | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 40:50

Listen to the amazing children's book that started it all. My Baby Monsters and I Went to the Park is a playful story of a young child and her imaginary friends conquering the big kids' playground. It was written by a little girl (with some help from her daddy). My dad and I love reading our fun children's book for boys and girls around the world. Since we can't visit everyone, we made a special audio storybook version of our children's book for you.... and if you watch the podcast above, you can see all of our children's picture book's illustrations too. Since my dad and I wrote this children's book together, we love to read it together too. I read the baby monster parts, and my dad reads the narration. We've also made a few changes in this audio edition so you can follow along if you don't have a copy of our children's book in front of you. The biggest change is music. We love music, all types... and so do the baby monsters. Some love classical music, some swing to jazz, and some bounce in rhythm to Cuban dance music. For this reason, and so you know which baby monster is talking, each baby monster in this audio storybook is its own musical instrument... just like in the amazing children's story and classical music piece, Peter and the Wolf. So what instruments are the baby monsters? Candy Fish is a Flute, Sun Flower is a Clarinet, Dog is base Strings, Shooting Star is a Symphony Piano, Eye Scream is a Trumpet, Lollypop Girl is a Slide Trombone, Bubblegum Boy is a Saxophone, Helping Hands is Bongo Drums with Bells, The Parents (Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa) are all Bassoons, Little Bird is a Piccolo, and Scaredy Carrot, well she couldn't make up her percussion mind, so she is a Timpani Drum and Cymbals. There are lots of surprises in this audio storybook. In addition to new songs and silliness, we play the new Nintendo Wii tickle Buy children's book "Fun fun fun" -- Alice Day "This book is really special" -- Julia Story Be sure to get your own Free Coloring Page of the fun children's book. Have fun, -- Josie (and dad) A note from the daddy: Thank you for listening to our story. My Baby Monsters and I Went to the Park is very special to me since the children's story comes from my daughter's imagination. While it was born by three house moving hurricanes and one baby, like any life form, it grows with each retelling. And while I'm glad that children and adults across the globe continue to enjoy this children's book, I will be even happier if it inspires you to read, hear, see, color, and share stories at the My Baby Monsters children's story sharing Web site, a place where children around the world build stories together. Without you, there is no story. To share your stories, visit MyBabyMonsters.com

[My Baby Monsters: storytelling podcast 11.5] The War of the Worlds (misunderstood aliens from outer space) | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 12:35

Ladies and gentlemen, we interrupt our regularly scheduled story sharing podcast to bring you a special bulletin from My Baby Monsters News. At twenty minutes before bedtime, Professor Josie of the Baby Monster Shooting Star Planetarium in Denmark, reported observing several explosions on the planet Mars, which could mean only one thing... aliens are on the way. To help put you in the mood for this fun little alien invasion, please enjoy the following special, out-of-this-world edition of the my baby monsters children's storytelling podcast. Children's stories from this podcast: -- There's an alien in my bed -- The alien repair shop -- The missing baby alien -- The bubblegum in outer space -- Spaceman (song by guest artist, Ian Knapp) -- FREE Baby Monster Shooting Star coloring page The history of "The War of the Worlds": This classic story of alien invasion predates man learning how to fly. The story was imagined and written in 1898 (over 100 years ago) by science-fiction writer H.G. Wells. The War of the Worlds was then turned into a radio program by Orsen Welles on October 30, 1938... unfortunately many listeners did not realize it was only a Halloween special... so many listeners were naturally frightened, believing that Martians were really invading Earth. Since that time, four War of the Worlds films have been made, including the classic film in 1953 and a more recent version by Steven Steven Spielberg in 2005. And of course, there is the classic My Baby Monsters Podcast by Josie and her dad in 2006. Listen to original radio broadcast (parental discretion advised): The 1938 War of the Worlds radio program is now in the public domain, meaning that you can enjoy it for free. Before listening to it with young children, please be advised that the aliens in the Mercury Theatre on the Air's "The War of the Words" don't play nice, so use your own discretion. Listen to The War of the World original radio program. Have fun, -- Josie (and dad) // mybabymonsters.com

[My Baby Monsters: storytelling podcast 11] EPISODE XI: THE LOST SPACE STORIES (Darth Vader visits NASA while Pluto disappears) | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 42:00

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.. Episode XI, THE LOST SPACE STORIES It is a historic period of revision. On the edge of a small solar system, on a Mickey Mouse planet named Pluto,My Baby Monsters were playfully busy creating stories, art, and podcasts for the children of Earth. And all was Vader-ific on this remote Disney world, until it's small world size and eccentric orbit forced the IAU empire to turn Pluto into a seven Dwarf Planet. Made Grumpy by this news, Baby Monster Com-PutOr, the 3rd broke down and refused to work, and as he powered down all of the stories were lost. But our space saga did not end there, because the children of Earth used their imagination to bring new hope, thus restoring freedom to the galaxy and bringing this NASA-mazing, Star Wars-tastic episode back to life. Have fun, -- Josie (and dad) // mybabymonsters.com
