TROMBONE PLAYER WANTED show

TROMBONE PLAYER WANTED

Summary: Trombone Player Wanted deals with you and your work, but, as you'll see, it does so in an unexpected way. We chose not to depict actors role-playing "employees", or recreating typical work situations. Instead, the films tell the story of a ten year old boy who, although a competent trombonist, feels his strengths tugging him in a different direction. Back when you were young, your strengths were to be trusted. You might not have had a name for them, you might not even have labeled them "strengths", but when you were a child you listened to them. You knew which activities drew you back to them time and again. You knew which situations thrilled you and you sought them out. You felt your yearnings and your passions intensely, and they fueled your innocent belief that the world was going to wait for you, until one day you would emerge from your home or your school and you would get to make your unique mark on the world. How old were you when you still felt this? Eight? Ten? Trombone Player Wanted takes you back to this time, and, while not denying the realities of the working world, challenges you to reclaim it.
