Etsy Admin, gay and straight, wanted to share stories of their teen years and let anyone who may be struggling with these issues know that you are not alone. Holed up with the quiet company of old movies, she knits about 15 hours a day. Running a one-woman knitwear enterprise from home, Yokoo is an artist, a perfectionist and a ”total control” worker. She enjoys being a part of the entire process: thinking, designing, sketching, picking up the material, creating, photographing, promoting, trading and sending. She still gets butterflies every time she packages up a new order.

In their light construction they incorporate ready-made objects, lighting components and constructed elements. The lamps are fitted and assembled by hand in their studio. One oft their goals is to create energy efficient fixtures, while maintaining a focus on their atmospheric and spatial performance.
