Your second Gamers' Inn in one week, aren't you lucky? :) The inn keepers return after a four day break where Ryan finished off The Bureau and wasn't too happy with the ending. No quick fire this week as we put our focus on the remaining releases of 2013. It's an exciting year as Sony and Microsoft make war on your wallet with the debut of the PS4 and Xbox One. Also Nintendo has some releases for those with Wii U's. Enjoy your long weekend North America!

This week on The Gamers' Inn we improve our Monday's by pretending it's Friday! Jocelyn got into the Hearthstone beta and tells us all what we're missing. Afterwards she follows up last weeks talk of PvZ2 with experiences of her own. Ryan played indie darling of the month Gone Home and you should all give this one a shot (no spoilers during our discussion). Finally in true Ryan fashion, he played a game getting mixed reviews and defends it with all his might: The Bureau XCOM Declassified. This week our topic is of course Gamescom, specifically focusing on announcements made by Sony and Microsoft.

The Gamers' Inn returns after a whirlwind week with more WoW and Pikmin 3 talk, as well as a few iOS titles. Now that Jocelyn is 90 in World of Warcraft she's been having a hard time trying to sort out what to do next. Ryan finished Pikmin 3 and enjoyed every minute of it. Shaking things up both inn keepers played some iOS games with DuckTales and Plants vs Zombies 2. In topic of the week we're discussing This Week in Microsoft, covering the bumpy road to the Xbox One launch. This past week the big M cut the cord on the Kinect, cut launch countries from 21 to 13 and announced the Season Pass Guarantee.

This week on The Gamers' Inn we try to take a break from last week, but then WoW and Nintendo are brought up and discussions flare up! Jocelyn hit 90 in World of Warcraft and is here to report on her journey. She also wrote a three part article about her experience over on DogHouse Network, here, here and Part 3 on Tuesday. Ryan finally got his hands on Pikmin 3, after a LONG eight and a half month wait (which he wrote about here). In our topic this week we cover the Summer of Arcade which kicked off this week with Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

On this heavy episode of The Gamers' Inn Jocelyn and Ryan discuss Papo & Yo, the Phil Fish debacle, and touch on the FemFreq video series. Ryan gave the new BioShock Infinite DLC a shot, as well as EarthBound on the Wii U. Our topic this week revolved around the recent drama surrounding Phil Fish and his cancellation of Fez II. Discussion then moved towards discussing Anita Sarkeesian and her experiences with internet bullying. On a lighter note, we gave away our copy of Defiance! This week on The Gamers' Inn we're doing things a little different, due to the Steam sale Jocelyn and Ryan played a BUNCH of games, so no topic this week, just GAMES! Jocelyn and Ryan both played some Defiance last weekend (which you can watch over on YouTube here and here). Other than a few issues they both enjoyed the game. Jocelyn has been losing her mind in Antichamber as well as playing the AI in DOTA 2. Ryan lost a bunch of bells in Animal Crossing, enjoyed his time in Civ V: Brave New World due to the lack of Gandhi, and finally finished off Remember Me. As we said on the show we had a blast with Defiance, but could be even more fun if you joined us! We'll be giving away a copy of Defiance to whoever gives us the best caption attached to a screengrab from last weeks episode (we'll be supplying a few screengrabs if you can't find one yourself). We're nearing the end of the Steam sale and on The Gamers' Inn we're going through our awesome pile of games for fun and giveaways! Jocelyn has been trying not to die in Don't Starve while killing all the heathens in Babel Rising. Ryan feels like Animal Crossing is more of a chore these days and vows to get back to interior decorating and to ignore Tom Nook's bills. Nearing the end of the show we read your emails on Steam sales and reward Wentzel with his copy of Borderlands 2 and a DLC Season Pass. If you missed the show live you're missing out on great giveaways, but for all our wonderful listeners/viewers we have another contest for you. In a post Nerdtacular world Jocelyn and Ryan re-group to talk about their awesome time in Utah, mobile games, and of course the Steam Summer Sale! The 3DS was the king of the gaming devices at Nerdtacular and Ryan misses all the StreetPasses. :( On the return flight Jocelyn took to Twitter for iOS game recommendations and played many awesome titles to pass the time. In topic of the week we discuss Don Mattrick and his move to Zynga and speculate what that may mean for Microsoft. Nerdtacular is next week and The Gamers' Inn will be there! Ryan gave The Last of Us multiplayer a shot and dusted off his Wii U for a little New Super Luigi U. Jocelyn has been driving herself crazy trying to level a Death Knight to level 89 in less than a week! Our topic this week is Nertacular! Jocelyn and Ryan will be there and plan to do some sort of show, but unfortunately it probably won't be live. If you're going to be at Nerdtacular be sure to say hi!

Our topic this week revolves around the newly announced policies for the Xbox One on Always On, Used Games, and the new Kinect.

This week on The Gamers' Inn Ryan shows off his Luigi's Mansion commission that Joel Duggan drew for him and Jocelyn describes her first jump into League of Legends. Ryan also educates us on the beginning of the Year of Donkey Kong with Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis March Again and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. Finally, Ryan gives a quick nod to The Swapper on PC, which is part Dead Space, part 2D Metroid, and part Portal. Our topic this week revolves around an interview with Susan O'Connor (writer of Bioshock and Tomb Raider) where she has become fed up with the limitations of telling stories in video games.

The Gamers' Inn is back for it's second episode of the week featuring more Gears, more WoW, and more Xbox! Ryan played through Gears of War Judgement and liked it better than the other March prequel, God War Ascension. Jocelyn has been consumed by WoW and patch 5.3. Our topic of the week continues with the Xbox One talk we started on Tuesday, focusing on the new tidbits of info released about avatar support, multiple OS's, backwards compatibility and of course used games. Finally we announced our first E3 special that will be recorded June 10th after the Sony conference, less than 16 days away!
