AT&T One X buyers who were fortunate enough to grab one of these devices before the customs ban soon faced disappointment when they brought them home hoping to start flashing custom ROMs. While some shipments of these devices have started to trickle back into the U.S., it was discovered that HTC and AT&T had placed some new restrictions on the bootloader which would not allow a quick unlock using the HTC bootloader unlock tool.
