Certifiable Total Recall

Summary: We remember way too many lines from sitcoms and have seen, heard, read, and played entirely too many movies, games, music, books, comics, television, and sports. Here we discuss them. If you're looking for in depth discussions of Family Matters, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Star Wars, The Office, Community, Lost, 24, and literally ANYTHING else, you've found it here. We are your personal eidetic memory - we are CTR. Jason Martin is a junior at Western Kentucky University majoring in Broadcasting with a Marketing minor. He also appears on WWHR Revolution 91.7 FM in Bowling Green, KY as "Jay Freeze" - listen live at www.revolution.fm. He worked in professional wrestling for ten years as play by play commentator, head writer, talent booker, and on air talent (1999-2009). His ultimate goal is to become the protector on "the island"... following in the footsteps of Jack Shephard and Jacob. He also claims to be the "real" Jack Bauer, but not heroin addict Bauer... Army of Two mask "killing Charles Logan" Jack Bauer. Andrew Van holds a degree from the University of South Carolina Upstate and now works in the finance industry. Though a few years younger than his cohort in crime, Van's attention to obscure pop culture detail matches his cohost and his energy is often infectious on air. He currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina and though it isn't completely decided as of yet - word is he may be Palpatine's replacement. For now, he will settle for ALSO being Jack Bauer, but not Kiefer drunk attacking a Christmas tree. Okay, he'd take that one too.  Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 28: This Ep is Justified | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6245

Plenty to get to this week as we tackle some news in television and talk films and "the next Lost" before getting to the main course, FX's Justified, which returned three weeks ago. We talk about the characters, Elmore Leonard, the on screen chemistry and tone of the show, plus the hopes of the show runner. Justified convo spins into other TV at times but the guys do their best to keep it on track. As always, Buffalo Rodeo provides the theme song - "All the Same" - which can be found at buffalorodeo.bandcamp.com. The band is almost set to release a new album and we love em!

Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 27: Happy New Year | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 5959

In what will go down as a famous (or infamous) moment for CTR, Andy and Jason put you in the studio with them as they randomly conversed while the tapes were rolling. The main topic shifts from Ving Rhames to Melanie Griffith, from the worst film titles ever to horrible family portraits online and so much more. It wasn't the plan, but it provided so much random entertainment we decided to release it to show you just how INSANE these two gentlemen are. A standard What's Happening segment kicks it off. Thanks to Buffalo Rodeo for "All the Same" as they are in the process of recording their new album - new clips, crazy talk, wild pop culture randomness. This is hopefully going to be an enjoyable ninety-five minutes of pure WTF. Please try to follow along with us on IMDB - as that's where a lot of it came from... we think.
