Nancy Rossman has been a story teller her entire life. Her Southern heritage and an appreciative audience helped her to hone her skills. In 1999 she began in earnest to study writing and attend writers’ workshops to develop her skill more thoroughly. Over the years she has studied at Centrum and Tin House with Alan Furst, Dorothy Allison, Valerie Miner, Abigail Thomas, and Ann Hood. In 2001 she won first place in a new talent contest by the Phoenix Writer’s Group for “Matchmaker, Retired.” In 2003 she won second place with “More About Joe” in a contest sponsored by Women Writers of the Desert. As much as fiction interests her, the memoir genre is the most fascinating. In 2004, with the help and encouragement of her mother, she tackled her mother’s story, First Love Last Dance. Peter Westbrook is a six-time member of the U.S. Olympic Team and the winner of the Bronze Medal in Men's Sabre event at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles . He holds an unbelievable thirteen individual national championship titles and was a finalist at the 1989 World Championships as well as the recipient of the Oprah's Use Your Life Award. Peter used the sport of fencing as a way to escape the desperation that was all around him as a child growing up in the projects of Newark, New Jersey. Today through his foundation, he is helping inner-city kids in the five boroughs of New York to realize their own dreams through fencing and create and develop life skills that will carry them to become champions in their lives in and out of the Olympics. The Peter Westbrook Foundation is a not-for- profit organization that utilizes the sport of fencing as a vehicle to develop life skills in young people from under served communities. JT Keitt grew up in the Bronx, NY, where she honed her writing skills as a poet and lyricist. It wasn’t until her years in junior high school that she discovered the other side of her creative writing skills after winning an award for writing and presenting her rendition of the transformation of the Botanical Gardens. It was at this time that JT realized her calling as a writer, although it would take several years for this talent to evolve into a profession. In 1986, JT entered Utica College of Syracuse University and majored in Journalism but was still off course, not sure if the field was channeling her creativity. After leaving Utica, JT opted to work in broadcast television where she stayed for several years in the creative services department of WPIX-TV writing and editing promotional on-air copy. It wasn’t until she found her way to New York University over a decade later that she would earn her Bachelor of Arts degree and claim her major in Creative Writing, a decision that would take her on a professional journey as a columnist for an independent music magazine, as an editor for the school’s departmental magazine, as a professional ghostwriter and ultimately as a full-time editor. However, it is the time spent as a ghostwriter that would lead to her destiny as author of her first novel Secrets of my Soul. Besides raising funds to support Veterans’ healthcare programs, Gina Elise has made countless personal visits to ill and injured patients in VA and military hospitals across the U.S., where she delivers her nostalgic pin-up calendars and posters that are donated by the public. She has also sent hundreds of donated calendar gifts to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Gina Elise has been dubbed “the calendar angel” by America’s deployed troops, who have flown nine American flags in her honor over military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently on her 60th year of reading palms, she has read, logged and documented in excess of 47,000 hands.
