Someone recently wrote the Ethicist with essentially this question. His answer? Wait it out, at least until your partner is feeling better, more optimistic about his condition. Alicia Merchant, our guest this week, had a pretty different perspective. She was 23 and in a relationship when she first got cancer, and her partner stayed with her. We explore the often hilarious, sometimes troubling, and always awkward world of sex ed, with help from contributor Sierra Bellows – who did a fantastic putting together these stories. Sierra also points us to this great article about sex ed from the New York Times.
