What if one sound -- one simple focused sound that any of us could make with our voice -- could alter a moment or change the molecular structure of a cell? Please join me, The Unstoppable Frankie Picasso this week when I am joined by my guest Tryshe Dhevney, a woman with an incredible tale of self discovery and remarkable healing. Ten years ago, doctors told Tryshe that she would most likely die within a month from the hepatitis C and cirrhosis of the liver that they no longer could treat. Tryshe, an actor by training, found her voice and started using it more as solace, but then as her health improved, as a means of healing. Indeed, sound saved her. Today, ten years after leaving mystified doctors in her wake, Tryshe is teaching others how to use sound to heal from physical, emotional and spiritual diseases and imbalances, something she now calls SOUNDShifting. In her SOUNDShifting workshops and seminars, people learn to use their voice to create “sound” health, to recognize what their voice is saying about them, to return their body and mind to their natural rhythm and frequency.
Please join me, the Unstoppable Frankie Picasso when I interview this weeks Unstoppable Guest Dr. Robert Rose. Robert Rose is a tireless advocate and pioneer for an education system that not only empowers the individuality of children but also that of the teacher. He calls his program, Imaginative Curriculum (IC). With over 50 years of teaching experience, through trial and error, Dr. Rose has found a way of teaching that excels at turning out students who are independent, self-aware, self-confident, self-motivated, and who can totally accept responsibility for their actions. Unfortunately, the Schools and school boards don't always agree that this is in the best interest of the school or the children. Perhaps they think his idea of a ' Self Sustaining Classroom" may be too radical? Dr. Rose, is a psychologist and educator, who often challenges the status quo and this time he wants everyone to step up to the plate, including the children, parents, administrators, and legislators , ( anyone with a vested interested including the teacher) to also take responsibility for what happens in the classroom. His book, JOYS of TEACHING: They Touched My Life won the READERS’S FAVORITE award for the Best Education Book of 2009, but you can see from the title of his other book, ABUSES of POWER in EDUCATION:Challenging Practically Everything, why the 'system' that the Education system has not always been his friend. Instigator, advocate, rebel, and warrior/teacher with a cause, Robert has been fighting the education system for the better part of 50 years and he just might be one of the worlds Greatest Teachers.

Today, she is near 70, and has thrice published her research on bio-identical hormones, is an herbalist, a Reiki Master, and still sees about 120 patients every week. In her book, she delves into the steps we need to take in order to develop our self-esteem and thus our health:If 2-3 of those women are completely comfortable with and love themselves unconditionally, that’s above average. “Look at me, I’m so fat.” “Everything I do just isn’t enough.” Who hasn’t uttered these words or heard a woman utter them? Self-esteem does not come easy to many, especially women. Yet, self-esteem is essential to good health as Dr. Leonetti explains in her new book, Hardwired for Love: Nurturing Yourself to Vibrant Health (indi Publishing Group, June 1, 2010). How can we heal, have good physical health, and be emotionally balanced if we don’t love ourselves? It's virtually impossible. That's why Dr. Leonetti is all about what she calls "the self-esteem gene," which needs to be activated regardless of age.
