 025 – Really? 25… already? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

(Can you believe we are on show number 25?!? It seems like just seven months ago we were on episode 24!) (http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/025-300x300.jpg) Today on Third Place Radio we learned that the day that Sam Elliot shaves his mustache will be "The Green Day"... a sure sign of the coming apocalypse. Tom was a little under the weather, but fortunately we had all the regulars in the house today. Dawn, Aaron and DC were all here to discuss the ways in which the world might end in 2012. But first an update on the 'moral rehabilitation' in Indonesia know as the Punk-o-cide. The musical break today was provided by our friends, Thee Infernals, with their rock-a-billy-esque cover of Blue Monday. P.S. This was one of our more NC-17 shows. You are warned... or encouraged... depending on your taste.

 024 – The Wet Trump | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:01:33

(http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/new-logo300.png) We were one member of the crew short today, but 4 divided by 4 is 1 and that's what we are striving to be. We spoke to Marti, the amazing vocalist of Imaginary Cities (http://imaginarycities.ca/), on today's show. We talked about how they were selected to tour with the Pixies, how they got their start and why ketchup is important to the band. We also try out a new version of Top Five in which we all create our personal Top Fives. Plus this week's quiz: Porn Star or TV News Personality? Surprisingly difficult if you don't watch Fox News.

 023 – That’s what she said! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 55:51

(http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/new-logo300.png) Oh, yes we did. An entire show of "that's what she said" jokes. Crystal a.k.a. Miss Manners, stopped by to provide examples of how not to behave towards a lady. We called Dubious Lou, of the Big Mountain Misfits roller derby fame. Despite technical difficulties, she gave us a great low down on the upcoming April Foul's Day bout against the Spokannibals. Play along with a quiz: Facebook Group or After School Special. But first, some theater.

 022 – Well Something Broke | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:24

(http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/22-300x300.jpg) The "ground breaking event" of live music at the VFW happened on Friday the 11th. The plan was to record some music sets, grab a couple interviews and compile the whole thing into a cool faux radio show for you. As you can guess by the 7 minute show time, this didn't happen. But we did get almost one complete song!

 021 – HE’S STILL FROM CALIFORNIA! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 52:54

(http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/new-logo300.png) We welcome back DC to this week's episode! Unfortunately Aaron was under the weather and not able to make it, the good news is that three is a magic number. We took a really fun quiz, "Lifetime Movie or Megadeth Lyric?" You can even play along at home! Plus some great Seattle bands, BOAT and Redwood Plan, were enjoyed as interlude.

 020 – Holy sh*t it’s Christmas | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 40:06

(http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/new-logo300.png) Turns out Dawn and Aaron have been captive in Tom's house for the past eleven months waiting for him to figure out the wires and cables. We give a, let's be honest, half-assed Christmas gift guide. It was no less entertaining though... learn how to cover up those "sensitive areas" in the winter months. If the rain ever stops we're going to try some "human ice bowling/curling". You should join us. It only sounds dangerous. First person to leave us a voicemail on our new number 406-646-6TPR wins an awesome CD and T-shirt! Holy shit it's Christmas!

 019 – GOOOOAAAALLLLLL! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 32:29

(http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/new-logo300.png) Due to an increasing amount of requests to do another show, Tom has done another show. (This is probably not what people were hoping for, but it's all we can do.) Montana favorites, Tonight We Ride, Bird's Mile Home and Goddamnitboyhowdy are all played, as is the number one song of the Summertime by Girls. Plus we talk about rainbows, the World Cup and fitness. It's a short show, so that you will actually listen.

 018 TPR – sniffle, sniffle | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 44:11

(http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/new-logo300.png) I was feeling like I needed to be productive today. This was literally the least I could do. Frightened By Rabbits were covered in ash and were not able to make it to Coachella. The iPad is too powerful for Israel. Seriously. Infected Mushroom seemed an appropriate band to play to honor this. As did Captured! By Robots. Your awareness of our ecosystem is straining our relationship. Things are happening both near and far. One of those things is a NW MT tour by Father Son and Holy Smokes. All this, and your 'Moment of Mayhem' was celebrated. I wanted to say more, but my nose and throat were killing me.

 017 – Third Place Radio | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 28:30

(http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/new-logo300.png) This is the show that could have been "hella" cool, but instead settled for "yotta" cool. It's time to buy your music festival tickets. Will you choose one that is near or far this year? Coachella, Sasquatch, or maybe Bonnaroo? Sorry, but no roller derby girls were interviewed in the making of this episode. They are busy ladies. You could win a small PBR refrigerator on St. Pabstrick's Day if you're at the Kalispell VFW on St. Patty's Day. We tell you about this and many more events both near and far.

 #016 TPR. 406-282-0869 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 12:20

TV shows are always taking time off, so why shouldn't we? The Flying Penguins made Montana state history by plunging into Whitefish Lake. We hear about that. Shel Silverstein is more than just a children's author, something you learn as an adult. (No hacky sacks were injured in the making of this podcast.) Phone a friend, won't you? 406-282-0869

 #015 TPR with TAD | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:54

We start the show off with some local music, Train Song. Then it's on to the unavoidable late night TV "situation". We're with CoCo. The greatest band Dawn never knew she loved was then played. Plenty of people will be jumping into ice cold water February 6th for a good cause. Plus we discuss what we call, "leading a healthy lifestyle." Check out our website http://thirdplaceradio.net for more information on joining up with a roller derby or dodgeball league and to find out how to do the Penguin Plunge.

 #014 TPR with TAD | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:14

Dawn is on her way to Seattle, so Tom and Aaron were joined by DC. HE'S FROM CALIFORNIA! We talk about bras, boobies and the internet. Plus we play some sort of amazing music. Be sure to check out DC's movie Heidi the Hobo Hunter (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYueJNyOBxc) on YouTube (both parts 1 & 2). And while you're at it check thirdplaceradio.net (http://thirdplaceradio.net) for several of his other works.

 #013 Sunday Bloody Sunday | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:13:19

(http://thirdplaceradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/013-300x300.jpg) This is the true story of seven people picked to sit at a bar and talk about what happens when things start getting real. Tom, Aaron, Dawn, Annie, Jimmy Jam, Tony B and Mikey T cover the best and worst of 2009. Special thanks to the BSI shots. They ricked and they rolled. Our Blazing Hot Title Track this week is NoiseNoiseNoise's song "Stolen".

#012 To Be Named Later. Maybe. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 55:01

We ponder the questions of our very existence as a made for TV movie tries to emulate our little town. Dawn took a 13.1 mile brisk walk in Vegas while listening to music. This is record breaking on several levels. Jay-Z we are, on behalf of Sesame Street, charging you with violations to the letters J and Z. Taylor Swift, grab his mic.

 #011 Black Friday Best Of | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:19:55

If you're new to the show, welcome. Rather than think of this as an "obituary", like Dave Grohl might do if he were to release a Best Of, think of it more like a new beginning. We're all busy people, so catch up on the last ten episodes by listening to this one show. It's longer than normal, but we had to talk to the Graveyard Girl Scouts, the Dancing Man and Moonsong Greentrout. Plus we talked reality TV and Dawn's Top Five music selections, and so much more. Awesome. Totally awesome. As a side note, today is what we call Black Friday these days. So ominous, so goth. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
