 Pandemic is still a worry! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3606

Stepping in at very short notice Barbara Anne joined me to look at the news in Spain and the UK. With many of Spain’s 47 million inhabitants unable to work as a result of the country’s lockdown, the importance of keeping an eye on expenses has led lots of Spaniards to notice a hike in prices, starting with their grocery bills and then the cost of having food and drinks in bars and restaurants.

Still Praying for Peace! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2991

....and still they pull down statues and meet up for rave parties and charge around with their stupid pointless protests....which does make you wonder about university education....seems to me it makes these students THINK they are clever....the only purpose these idiots are achieving is to spread this virus and prolong the epidemic but they don't seem to see that.....and amongst all this nonsense we have some piece of manure walking into a park and stabbing people....which we now know was a linked to terrorism.....and apparently the police knew about him....he's been arrested and no doubt will go to prison but that doesn't help the victims

Spain Urging Caution...... | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3605

‘Sick of Madrid’ became a trending topic on Twitter, in a bid to ostracise the capital from the rest of Spain, which similarly occurred at the beginning of the pandemic. Madrid has a bad reputation, not only because their city was the epicentre of the virus in Spain but also because when the quarantine was first enacted in the capital many residents fled to their beach houses in Costa del Sol or Costa Blanca to ‘vacation’ rather than take lockdown seriously.

 Now it's New Words! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2569

And we have gained some new expressions each day....the latest is Priti Patel has been accused on "gas lighting"...whatever that means but it fits in nicely with "pandemic"...."Spike"...."Social distancing"...."2 metre rule"....I wonder who has the job of thinking these words up "Hey George...we need another saying for today"...."Yeah O.K.....how about SELF ISOLATION?"

Well Done Marcus! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3048

 What's Behind the Mask? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3611

Spain is clearly siding with the most conservative members of the European Union when it comes to reopening borders. Face masks are here to stay. Not only are they obligatory in Spain at the moment, while the state of alarm emergency measures are still in place, but they will also continue to be in the future, in the so-called “new normality,” until the government declares the coronavirus crisis to be completely over.

 Bewildering Events.... | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3219

....I am not criticising anyone or condemning their actions but there are certain things I just don't get........According to various sources the guy who was arrested and sadly killed was, according to various reports, a serious criminal with several jail sentences for armed robbery and drug dealing and a string of other offences....so what has being black got to do with it?....and this is the man who is now hailed as a martyr...but we don't get the other side of the story.......and what has an arrest in America got to do with this country other than to give protesters an excuse to gather like sheep and increase the risk of spreading the corona virus....thus probably causing another lockdown and loss of lives....and to attack the police which is moronic..

Man City in the Dock | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3258
