Summary: CBC Radio presents the stories and misadventures of Dave, the owner of the "Vinyl Cafe", the world's smallest record store, where the motto is "We may not be big, but we're small." The show also features Dave's wife, Morley, their two children, Sam and Stephanie and assorted friends and neighbours.
Sam and his best friend Murphy spend their summer in Dave’s hometown of Big Narrows, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. When they look up into the sky and see a shooting star, they are convinced that what they witnessed was a UFO, and they become determined to get to the bottom of the mystery.
