It varies, but to enjoy an interesting story we will put up with some level of worldliness. Young adults are more vulnerable to this temptation. Are we encouraging them to read more appropriate material? There are books written by Christians in many genres such as steampunk, urban fantasy, science fiction, historical and many others. Hebrews 10:19-10:25 In our Scripture for today we find the danger signs that were once so prevalent on the doors leading into the Holy of Holies torn down and the welcome mat placed square in front of the entrance that leads to the presence of God. That was made possible by Christ and His sacrifice on our behalf.
