Kitty Cat Cast

In this episode of Kitty Cat Cast we look at the beautiful Persian cat breed. This is one of the most popular cat breeds in the world. I never really like the look of this breed because of the flatfish face and leaking eyes. But I later discovered that there is a type of Persian that has more of a muzzle and beautifully extended nose and cheek. Eventually I got one when we moved to Thailand. Early one morning we discovered that Simba had created for himself a new bed, in our bathroom sink! We find him stuck in all kinds of strange places, but this one was a real keeper!

My wife and I had our 20th anniversary in Waikiki, Hawaii just before returning home and going in for Dental Surgery. It was a fun time and we wanted to share it with you. I'm still in a bit of pain, but soon I'll be back in the saddle and uploading some new exciting episodes of Kitty Cat Cast.

Well, the pond in our back garden was too small for Simba to swim in; but that didn't stop him. He got one paw in and started to paddle away! Maine Coons are well known for their love of water and the webbed feet help them to get a good stroke. Maine Coons get their names from the fact that they originated from the State of Maine, and they have large furry tails that resemble the tail of a racoon. Thus their name "Maine Coon". To give you an idea of Simba's size, this picture was taken of him as he reclined on our queen sized bed! Persia and Simba each weight in at over 17 pounds. These gentle giants were both born here in Australia and are our pride and joy!

This is a VidCast of Persia our all white Maine Coon Cat having his routine morning water feature. Maine Coon Cats love water and especially drinking from the sink or toilet! Sound familiar? Maine Coon cats love to run into the shower as well, ours are polite enough to wait until we have finished our showers!

Here is little JaiDee (Good Heart in Thai) at eleven months old. She is still as playful as she ever was as a kitten. She is beautiful and affectionate! Although she is pure Persian she is a small female. One of my favorite things about JaiDee is that when you carry her in your arms she simply relaxes and gazes into your eyes, listening to your every word. My wife says she is her favorite cat, which is saying a lot because Persia and Simba were our gentle giant Maine Coon Cats. But we had to leave them with friends in Australia. So sad. We never thought we would love again, until JaiDee came along.It seems that the majority of you really like this video series.
