Conceptual Guerilla Radio Syndication
Summary: Had enough? Have you figured out that your government has been hijacked by corporate imperialists, hellbent on plundering the globe? Are you tired of rightwing hoodlums, fundamentalist hypocrites, corporate media whores -- and the bourgeois liberal pantywaists who refuse to fight them? Are you wondering whether elections will be enough? What's going on? And what can be done about it? Conceptual Guerilla Radio cuts through the rhetoric, the propaganda, and the meely-mouthed excuse making, and confronts how corporate imperialists are destroying our country, and destroying our planet. If you're serious about real change, tune in to Conceptual Radio, five days a week.
Podcasts:
"Overpoliced" Here's a fun question for you. How many uniformed police officers were on duty in the US the day the constitution was ratified?
"Winter Solstice Greetings" For a nice tweak aimed at your fundamentalist friends -- if you have any -- wish them a happy Winter Solstice. It's a holiday created by the laws of physics.
"The Fall Of The Third Republic" Sam Smith of "Undernews" says our nation is in full collapse. He appears to be believe it's the first time. In fact, it's the third. The last two were equally bleak in the early days, from the standpoint of the forces of progress.
"Your Natural Born Rabble Rouser" Today's show may be summarized with one question. "Where are our tea parties?"
"Why Conservo's Are Better Politicians" They are, and you may as well know it. While you're at it, you might as well know why.
"The Long Struggle" Healthcare reform is shaping up to be a half-assed disappointment. How about a little much needed perspective?
"We're Back" As we prepare for our confrontation with Limbaugh, and continue post production for "Megadittoes," it's time for the future of CG radio. There is one, and you can hear it . . . starting today.
It's been a busy August, and a busy Congressional recess. We've been to events for Congressman Allen Boyd, Alan Grayson, and of course, Ander Crenshaw. We've got a backlog of great interviews. After negotiating a steep learning curve with our video editing software, we are ready to launch our first short video -- with much more to come.
"So Long, For Now" After some "farewell" callers, we launch a Limbaugh Lie special, including a discussion about the future of progressive radio.
"Local Keynesianism" Ramon Day opens this bonus hour with a discussion of the local Jacksonville budget. This leads to a really good discussion -- including another good call -- on Keynsianism and local government.
