It's been a long time ... since I left you with a hot dope beat to step to... THE BRILLIANT CUTZ PODCAST IS GETTING A REVIVAL!!!! Wow sorry for neglecting you peeps! FADED TWINS MsManya here. AKA ShortSkirt Jedi1 these days. I recently moved/ran away from my beautiful San Francisco to SIN CITY. That's right. Viva Las Vegas! So, to turn the page and start this new chapter, I am here to start making some noise again.. Raysha Ray has some tricks up her very stylish sleeve for you all as well. So watch this space... Just in time for the Love Supreme Jazz Festival here in London, I was asked to do a lloong mix!! The place is named Goodman (after the jazz musician Benny Goodman)...so I dug out some nuggets accordingly!! It moves on a jazzy, orchestral vibe, first thru 60's and 70's inspired stuff, Brazillian, Tokyo, Afro-Beat, NeoSoul, Acid Jazz, Downtempo and later on to some Latin, Broken Beat, House, even a bit of Drum n Bass!! As always, I reprazent my Fierce Females to the fullest! and all the mixes are done live. It was also my first foray into Ableton for the (minimal) editing process! Watch this space for the Soul/Funk/R&B/House mix currently in the works! Enjoy!! Raysha Ray
