Welcome. Today we’re going to be talking about something that is very prominent in our world today, and yet, is a dirty little secret so many people keep. We’re going to be talking about pornography. What it is, how it affects us, whether or not it is sinful, how we can recognize porn addictions, and the steps we can take free ourselves from the evil influences of porn will be our focus for today. Obviously we’re going to be talking about sexual subject matter, so if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing, you might want to skip this particular episode.

Welcome. In Mark 12:30-31 we have a very important command given to all Christians. This command is at the very heart of Christianity. Let’s take a look at them now. (Mar 12:30) And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. (Mar 12:31) And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. If we don’t live these commands, our walk with God will suffer for it, if not fail completely. Today we are going to be discussing how we can love God, and how we can affect that love in our lives.

Welcome. Today we’re going to be talking about something that applies to all Christians; that is what we should be doing in our roles as believers. It isn’t often enough, I think, that Christians in general think about what we should be doing. It’s easy to lose touch with the job description for a Christian because there is so much going on in the world around us, and frankly, we’re all very busy these days right? Well, that dog just won’t hunt, so let’s look at those things that should be part of our work as Christians.

This is where the famous ‘he who is without sin cast the first stone’ verse comes from, and we’re going to take a look at the surrounding text to gain a better understanding of the context of this famous quote.

What happened is something that I think is happening more and more around the world today: political correctness is rearing its ugly head and causing the faithful from backing down from the truth of God’s Word.

We Live! Welcome. In the Book of Romans, we see a clearly laid out path to destruction presented in verses 1:18-32. These steps have been followed foolishly by many. We have had individual people go down this road, certain segments of society, certain societies themselves, and even whole nations march this path of doom. Today we are going to learn what comprises this path so that we might keep ourselves, our society, and hopefully even our nation from heading down it.

While these steps might be meant for the young, I find that they would likely work for anyone at any age. The basis of this question of ‘how can the young secure their hearts?’ originates from (Psa 119:9) BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. We’re going to be spending this episode explaining how one can take heed to God’s word.

Welcome. Today I want to talk about the way we live here in America in this day and age. There are so many things that we do that just completely flies in the face of God and His commands as presented in the Bible. The thing is that some 78% of Americans claim to be Christians! If this was truly the case, the majority of us should be living the Word of God and the things that so many of us find shameful should only represent a very small minority.

Welcome. Today I want to talk a little Jesus, as in His parables, and the meaning they have for us in our modern day lives. This time I want to take on the Parable of the Sower, or the Parable of the Four Soils. This parable teaches us about how we take the Word in our lives, it pretty much classifies everyone’s four main basic responses to God’s Word. If we are anything besides the ‘good’ soil, this is a call to repentance and a change of heart as well.

Welcome. Today’s topic was inspired by a television show that I saw about a woman that is a practicing psychic. This made me think about how in our society we don’t blink twice when it comes to the supernatural or the occult. This in turn sent me to my Bible to find what God has to say about topic. The results of that search are what I want to talk about today.

Welcome. Today we have a grim topic, the one of death and persecution. To be more specific, we’re going to be talking about being persecuted and even executed for our religious beliefs, and just how common this is even in our modern world. We are also going to discuss how we should handle this persecution in our lives when it comes to us. And make no mistake, if we live in Christ as we should, it will come to us in one form or another.
