| "Dwarves Interview" Episode 12 | The Dwarves is truly one of Punk Rock's most hilarious bands, spawning genres such as Punk, Hardcore, and Garage Punk. Their music style is very similiar to the Ramones, being simple, loud, and controversial. We had the oppurtinity to have a chat with Blag Dahila from the band about multiple subjects from leaving Epitaph and Sub Pop to go on their own label to He Who Cannot Be Named (Dwarve's guitarest) lifestyle. We talk about the Dwarve's very expiremental album The Dwarves Must Die having genres such as pop punk, hadcore punk, and hip hop all incorporated into the record. The interview also includes 2 songs. Salt Lake City from The Dwarves Must Die and Everybody's Girl, a personal favorite off The Dwarves are Young and Good Looking | Get at Short URL | Download "Dwarves Interview" Episode 12 | Play in Popup.

| "80's Hardcore" Episode 11 | The 80's, Punk's most defiant, agressive, and maybe greatest years. This week on our show we have some of the most influential bands ever to come to the scene Featuring Minor Threat (check out our interview), Dead Kennedys, Millions of Dead Cops (check out our interview), Circle Jerks and much much more These are possibly the most badass bands to date. We would like to thank Dischord for all their support over the past few weeks, Dave Dictor for being such a friendly guy, and Frontier for giving us a great partnership, backing us up in times of need (Fuck you, WMG. You don't control Circle Jerks). Like always we choose the best of each album. We have content from Dead Kennedys's Plastic Surgery Disasters album, MDC's Millions of Dead Cops, Scream's Still Screaming, the Flex your Head compilation, and much more commentary. A big diversity of the DC Hardcore Scene, the Los Angeles Punk Community, and a little bit of the San Francisco days. Want to see more cool stuff? Well head on over to punkcdsampler.com We provide album samplers, interviews, music videos, and much more for your free listening. A lot more cool stuff is coming, so be prepared. | "Ian Mackaye Interview" Episode 10 | This was probably the greatest podcast we have ever put out. Who would've thought on our 10th episode we interview music legend, THE legendary, underground music pioneer Ian Mackaye. Ian Mackaye has been in a huge amount of bands starting off in hardcore group Teen Idles to the greatest punk band in the world Minor Threat. After, in Alternative Rock group Embrace, Post-Hardcore band Egg Hunt, soon to the very expiremental Pailhead with the dudes in Ministry making a hardcore punk/industrial metal genre, and returning in 1992 with his fellow bandmates to release material from Skewbald. Ian Mackaye has left a landmark on music in general. His words and actions have inspired me throughout my whole life (maybe not Matt's but certainly mine.) Whenever I feel like a piece of shit or go through a rough day one listen to Minor Threat will cure me right away. Fugazi is one of the most experimental bands to come out of the punk scene (not to mention one of the greatest.) Embrace was one of the earliest pioneers for post-hardcore music, and currently playing some of the most intellectual music to date with his lovely wife, Amy Farina in The Evens. Dischord records is my personal favorite label or all time (note: this is Shawn, Matt likes his A-F Records) and has carried on the DIY ethics like no other. Dischord has put out some of the most influential records to date with no help from greedy promoters. I hope you enjoy this one. We have much MUCH more surprises from here. | "Screeching Weasel Reformation!" Episode 8 | The eigth episode of the PunkCDSampler Show features news on reformations of legendary pop punk bands and music from Screeching Weasel, The Riverdales, Link 80, and Against Me! Matt did this one alone. This is the moment we have been waiting for. Screeching Weasel is finally back together, but without 1 member sadly. But this also means more touring and stuff. Link 80 if you don't know them are a great ska punk band. Their original singer died sadly. The Riverdales are awesome, and we decided to use Against Me! again. Anyways enjoy this one. | Get at Short URL | Download "Screeching Weasel Reformation!" Episode 8 | Play in Popup.

| "Interview with Sam Johnson (Virgins)" Episode 7 | Formed by Sam Johnson of New Mexican Disaster Squad comes the punk rock trio, Virgins. We discuss their album, Miscarriage, tour dates, and much much more.We got to talk with Sam Johnson. Influenced by bands such as Circle Jerks, Damned, The Who, TSOL, Cheap Trick, and Adolescents, Virgins sounds like Minor Threat doing a Damned Cover Band. Currently, they are on tour playing venues in Europe. The band features Sam Johnson on Throat and Guitar, Eric Pirman on Drums, and Phil Longo on Bass. | Get at Short URL | Download "Interview with Sam Johnson (Virgins)" Episode 7 | Play in Popup.

| "Corporate Rock Still Sucks" Episode #6 | This week on the show we have just an all star lineup. We start off out rant on corporate rock with New Mexican Disaster Squad's (visit our youtube page for our interview with Sam, the vocalist) "Fuck The Oscars" off their furious self titled release as well as good straight out street punk band Reagan Squad's "The Scam" off Golden Mile. Both bands disbanded, but records leaving hours of headbanging. Then we move on to the extremely influential punk band: Inquisition having members from Strike Anywhere, Ann Beretta, and River City High leaving a landmark in modern punk rock with their song, "Uproar". A national anthem for all the angry kids out there. Then we skank to Slapstick's Alternative Radio. A punk friendly song complaining about just how bad corporate radio can possibly be. Slapstick just like Inquisition also left a mark on various genres of punk rock. We end our podcast with the legendary all time famous Bad Religion with their 1983's release Recipe For Hate's "Struck A Nerve". Visit our youtube page at: http://www.youtube.com/user/punkCDsampler. We are currently having a huge 200 Subscribers part and are uploading huge amounts of content to our page.
