Welcome to the Memory Fitness Across the Ages podcast presented by Kathryn Kilpatrick, M.A. CCC/SLP. Kathy is a speech and language pathologist with over 35 years of experience working with older adults who experience communication and cognitive difficulties. She is the creator of a series of workbooks used nationally by speech pathologists since 1977. Kathryn is also the author of Walking the Path to Memory Fitness: One Week at a Time. She presents her memory fitness programs to a large and diverse scope of clients including corporations, community organizations, health and wellness programs, and all types of senior settings. As a speech and language pathologist, she also specializes in the area of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. This podcast series addresses some of the most frequently asked questions about memory and communication that Kathy has received from attendees of her training and lectures as a memory fitness specialist and geriatric communication consultant.
