Green Planet Films, Inc. is a non-profit distributor of nature and environmental DVDs from around the globe. We seek to preserve and protect our planet by educating the public about the science, beauty, and fragility of the natural world. Our mission is to create an affordable and accessible web-based DVD library and provide a channel that connects these films to schools, organizations, businesses, and individuals worldwide.

In this Greenstream, our featured DVD is Going GreenEvery Home an Eco-Home. Using humor and down-to-earth examples, GOINGGREEN answers, What can I personally do to help solve the environmental problems facing us today? Narrated by Tony Shalhoub, GOINGGREEN tours the original Eco-Home with a group of middle-school kids who are invited to learn some simple, inexpensive ways of becoming more earth-friendly. Guided by eco-pioneer Julia Russell, the Founding Director of Eco-Home Network, the children discover how we all can live earth-friendly lives on a limited budget, even in the middle of a city.
Suzanne Harle speaks with GOINGGREEN producers Mary Proteau and Judith Vogelsang about the creation of this film.
