Toronto - Casa Loma
|
|
Built by Sir Henry Pellatt in the early 1900s, this castle was a direct reflection of the immense wealth this man had acquired with investments in the Toronto Electric Light Co. and Canadian Pacific Railroad. Casa Loma literally means, "house on the hill", and is currently managed and maintained by the Kiwanis Club of the City of Toronto.
