Earth-2.net: The Show Episodes - | Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 341 | At the end of the last Waiting for the Trade segment, Dan and Mike each named two sets of comics they wish were currently collected. Now that they've had time to reread those books, do they still want to see them reprinted in trade paperback form? Some of the answers very well might surprise you. In case you missed it, the books they chose are Miracleman: A Dream of Flying, Sabretooth: Deathhunt, Iceman, and Ruse: Enter the Detective. Also, Mike does something absolutely evil to Dan. | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 341 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 305 | Tweaking the origins of superheroes is nothing new, but in 1985 DC rebooted their entire line of comics - allowing a handful of creative masterminds the opportunity to reshape classic characters. The three biggest, of course, were comprised of DC's Trinity: Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. In this edition of Waiting for the Trade, Dan and Mike take a look at those stories (Batman: Year One, The Man of Steel and Wonder Woman: Gods and Mortals) to see how well they did their job, and if they withstood the test of time. | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 305 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 274 | Batman has re-formed the Outsiders, and their first mission involves stopping an OMAC and a European space launch (Batman and the Outsiders, volume one). First Spider-Man has to prevent Mr. Negative from killing off the entire New York City mafia, then he teams with Jackpot to stop a new Goblin (Spider-Man: Brand New Day, volume one). And then Maxwell Lord's new (yet familiar) team of superheroes bumbles into one adventure after another (Formerly Known as the Justice League). | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 274 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 217 | Longtime listeners of the Is It Wednesday Yet? segment know the grading scale by heart: buy, borrow, flip through and skip. But they also know there are several grades reserved for extra special books. Sometimes those grades are full of loving warmth, and sometimes they're filled with burning hatred. In this episode of Earth-2.net: The Show, two of those special grades are given. The books this week are Daredevil #107, Marvel 1985 #1, Ms. Marvel #27, She-Hulk #29 and Wolverine: First Class #3. | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 217 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 214 | Conan, arguably the biggest name to leap from pulp novels, has also been featured in comic books, movies, television shows, video games and Power Records. | Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 198 | In this extra-sized episode, Jenny and Mike discuss their recent trip to Disney World. Highlights include a medical emergency aboard the plane, a lost child, an illness caused by freezing rain, a lackluster movie and a forty-niner. A forty-niner? Yeah, sort of. After that, Jenny and Mike go through the March Previews catalog, and Ian Wilson reviews two Will Smith movies: I Am Legend and Men in Black. | Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 160 | Monday, 28 September 1987 was quite possibly the greatest day in geek history. On that day, exactly 20 years ago today, Star Trek: The Next Generation launched on syndicated television. Since then science fiction television has boomed, producing such shows as Quantum Leap, seaQuest DSV, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica and a countless host of others. Though they're all grossly different, each show owes a debt of gratitude to Star Trek: The Next Generation. In this special edition of Earth-2.net: The Show, Jenny and Mike honor ST:TNG by discussing their favorite characters, moments and episodes. Join them as they talk for over three hours about The Next Generation! | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 160 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 109 | Though Earth-2.net and Earth-2.net: The Show didn't examine DC's weekly series 52, the same can't be said about DC's newest weekly effort: Countdown. Desmond Reddick and Michael Sims sat down to discuss the first four issues (51, 50, 49 and 48), and, based on the length of this episode, they clearly had a lot to say about the event. Does this story take place on New Earth? How is it that everyone knows that Jason Todd is Red Hood and was the second Robin? (Along those same lines, if they know that about Todd, how do they not know Bruce Wayne is Batman?) What course of action would cause Mike to drop all DC books? What will be the outcome once we're done counting down? All these questions and more are addressed inside this episode! | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 109 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 100 | It's episode 100, baby! The big one we've been working towards for a year and a half is in the books, and we celebrated the occasion by covering all things Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! In a marathon of epic proportions, Jenny and Mike reviewed all four feature films. Never have they spent so much time discussing one topic, but the Turtles deserve such an honor (even if two of the films should be erased from the collective consciousness). Not only that, but Ian, Kellen, Desmond and D.W. all contributed to the Turtle lovefest. If you ever loved the Turtles, this is the episode you've been waiting for! | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 100 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 98 | Though they agree that Spider-Man 3 was rather lackluster, Jenny and Mike vehemently disagree on the characterization of Mary Jane. (One thinks she's an unsympathetic character portrayed by a hack actress who doesn't resemble the part. The other believes MJ epitomizes how young women think and act.) When that's all said and done, Desmond Reddick pops in with another installment of Dread Media. | Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 90 | In the first of a multipart series, Mike and James reviewed the inaugural five episodes of Batman: The Animated Series. Thanks to its moody approach, orchestral score and deep characterization, the show is considered a classic. However, only one of the five episodes demonstrated the full potential of the series. Which one was it, who did Mike call "the greatest character in all of TV" and how is "Pretty Poison" like A Tale of Two Cities? | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 90 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 15 | Boo-ya! Oh wait. Cyborg never actually shouts that in episode 103 of Smallville. What a shame. It might have livened things up a little. Listener DarthSkeptical wrote a rather detailed explanation as to why Clark must be head over heels for Lana (at least for now), and we respond. James presents the third installment of Animazing Segment, and takes a look at R.O.D. - Read or Die. And a new segment debuts: Anticipation by Kellen Scrivens! | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 15 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 08 | Owly is the cutest book ever, and the joy he brings to his friends needs to be shared with everyone worldwide. Yeah, Burnout Revenge is a great game, but Burnout 3: Takedown was that much better. Despite the fact that it's a two-plus hour movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe could have been longer. That is, if it wanted to capture that epic Lord of the Rings essence. And the very first Animazing Segment debuts! | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 08 | Play in Popup.

| Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 06 | What is DCBS and why has it caused Mike to end his 15 year relationship with the local comic shop? Despite the hefty price, Invincible: The Ultimate Collection, vol. 1 is a must-have comic for fans new and old. (So is Marvel Team-Up #14.) Half-Life 2 is a near perfect port of the original PC title, unfortunately placed load times and all. And while Mike loves Dawn of the Dead (2004), Jenny wasn't all that crazy about it. | Get at Short URL | Download Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 06 | Play in Popup.
