What does it take to advance the ball down the field playing at the next level? We can't rest on the stats or record from last year or rely on just knowing the plays. This season we have to step up our game. To get the ball down the field, we have to run every play with the goal in mind. Playing in this whole new league, the pressure is higher and the plays are harder to make, but the potential wins are massive! So, what do you need to do personally to get game-shape? Every team has a playbook to call the plays of the game. They ready it, guard it, study it. They practice the plays so they will be ready to run any play that is called. As a church, we have the ultimate playbook. The Word of God is the only playbook we want. It reveals truth and shows us which way to go. It is essential to everything we do. To experience all He has for us and be ready to play, we need to get our heads in the game, open up the playbook, listen for the voice of the coach and go into training.

What does it mean that Jesus is calling us onto the field, both as a team and individually? We are His draft picks and there's a critical role for each of us to play.
